  1. You need to post the log - as per the pink box up the top.
  2. All we really needed was for you to copy + paste what's written in the log window.... FAR easier than having to watch a video! Go into the settings and click the 'Restore Defaults' button. Click 'Yes' to reset all of them. Load your image and burn to a *new* disc. Use decent discs, not what you're using there. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  3. I've already replied to your email. Please pick one method of communication or the other. I replied with... Can you please provide me with the disc info from the panel on the right when you try and burn it.
  4. Wouldn't your player just sort them by their name? If so, just name them appropriately. 01 - video.avi 02 - video.avi 03 - video.avi etc...
  5. It *may* help but there's really no way of knowing without trying it! Buy one from somewhere with a 'no questions asked' returns policy
  6. Or you could make it smaller using something like BD Rebuilder.
  7. Ah well, it was worth a try. Ditch the Samsung drive and get something else
  8. If your drive can't read it and you don't have access to another drive in another computer, you're kinda stuck. It could be a faulty disc or some sort of copy protection.
  9. Your drive can't read the disc. Is it dirty/scratched at all? If you have access to another drive, try reading the disc in that instead.
  10. If the drive won't see your cleaning disc, you'll have to attempt cleaning it manually. I'm sure you can Google for how to do that. If it still doesn't work, get yourself a new drive.
  11. I know what you're using and what speed you're burning at, I can see all that in the log. Obviously 2.4x isn't working, hence why I said to try 4x. The discs are rated for 8x burning so there's no problem (with overspeeding etc) if you try 4x. The drive may actually do a better job at 4x than it's doing at 2.4x. Yes, your drive could be the issue... that's why I said to try cleaning it. If using discs from a new spindle (of the same MKM-003-00 type) and cleaning the drive doesn't help, consider investing in a new drive.
  12. Try again with the newer SB07 firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S223C/files.html
  13. Your drive is having trouble with the disc. Try some discs from a different spindle and/or cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. You may also like to try it with the write speed set to 4x. Service Pack 2 is out for Windows Vista btw, you should install it.
  14. You're attempting to overburn on non Verbatim media... expect issues.
  15. CD-DA is always 2352 bytes per sector. Use the 'Sector Viewer' feature when you're in Read mode to manually try and read beyond LBA 1237. You'll have to click the 'RAW' button or it will error out all the time. Let me know what it says.
  16. It's unlikely the drive would allow the (any) software to read beyond what it's reporting for the disc capacity - i.e. sectors 0 - 1237 (1238 in total)
  17. Verify your burns to make sure they're at least readable in your burner.
  18. It works fine here and all the files are present and correct.
  19. Your version of ImgBurn is out of date too, you should install the current version.
  20. Ok, I've checked and the two that work seem to be using the 'RAW' write type. So if Nero shows the same issue, it's probably using 'SAO' too. You haven't actually mentioned which drive you've got? Maybe just posting the log from an Audio CD burn (with ImgBurn of course) would be best and may save me asking for other bits of info.
  21. ImgBurn burns as-is so it's a problem with your source files or your playback device.
  22. Well it's the drive that's erroring out as it tries to write to the disc...so it should really only be those 2 things that could be causing the problem.
  23. If discs from multiple spindles (ideally, made in Singapore) are failing, maybe it's time you tried another drive.
  24. Where did you find such an old version of the program?! Install the latest one - it won't fix the issue (which is drive/media related) but it'll fix other things and add new features. Try cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc.
  25. If your drive can't initialise the discs you're using, switching to another program isn't going to make any difference. It's a problem between your drive and the media you're using, the software doesn't even come into it.
