The IFOs say there's (or should be) one English subpicture stream (0x20) in the VOB files. You can use VobEdit to see if that's actually true. Not that I'm an expert but I can't see anything that would stop a player's subtitle button from working to display that stream. (there are no UPO's) To enable that one and only subpicture stream by default I'd open the vts_01_0.ifo in IfoEdit, navigate to VTS_PGCITI -> VTS_PGC_1 and change the 5th Pre Command (right click it -> edit command) so it says 'on' rather than 'off'. It should still be stream 0. Who knows what'll happen if the subpicture streams in the vobs don't match up with the ifo though! subpicture stream 0 in the vobs could just be occasional forced ones for foreign (alien) dialogue.

Is it saying that now you're on the JMicron controller or did it say it before? The latest JMicron drivers can be found here - ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/SATA_Controller/Windows/ Don't forget about motherboard bios updates, they'll update the JMicron bios too.

All I can suggest is that you try the drivers listed here. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/raid_windows.aspx Optical drives don't like RAID mode drivers so if you have the option/ability to get it into AHCI mode, do so.

Not being funny but it looks like you're just trying to make the player enable a certain stream by default when it starts playing the disc. In theory, the 'Subtitle' button on the remote would work if the player knew the subtitle streams existed... and it can't auto enable a stream that doesn't exist. Any chance you could upload the 2 IFO files so we can examine them?

Yes, you can just specify the layer break value in Tools -> Settings -> 'Write' tab. No, you don't have to create a new image. Alternatively, make another MDS file using the feature in the Tools menu and provide that layer break position.

What controller is that drive attached to? This issue is often due to the controller, 'mode' of said controller (in your case, RAID) and the drivers. ImgBurn hasn't hung, it's just waiting for your drive to say it's finished.

Just pick the truncate option when prompted. If that doesn't work in 2.5.6.0, it is working in (the as yet unreleased) 2.5.7.0.

ImgBurn handles booktype stuff on Samsung drives automatically. Of course you have to actually burn the disc to have the drive change the booktype as instructed by the program. You can't burn that image with the layerbreak in the position it's meant to be - it's not a 'legal' place for any media an end user can burn. If you can't ignore the warning/use the suggested LB position and have a working disc, you're out of luck.

Use the '-conf "filename.conf"' command line switch to point it at another one. Telling it where to load something from is something you'd normally put in the config file... but it's a little hard to relocate the config file from within itself I've read that it'll load a dosbox.conf file from the folder of the app you're running. Not sure if that would fit your needs though.

You should use a BD-RE if you're having problems, no point in wasting BD-R just testing stuff that has already failed multiple times. I'm sure they've tested multiAVCHD's PS3 option and it should produce a disc (with all the right folders) that works on a PS3 - otherwise there would be no point in it! You should post an ImgBurn log if you want us to check it's burning correctly - as per the pink box up the top Playback issues are best dealt with by forums supporting whatever program authored/created the files you burnt. In your case, that would be multiAVCHD which lives over at the Doom9 forums.

Do you have a log of you burning + verifying a disc you're trying to change the booktype on? If it is a driver issue, you're every bit as capable of searching for updated AMD SATA controller drivers as I am. I have links to Intel ones (because they're what I use), but not anything else.

Go get another non LG drive. It's hard to believe you've had 2 bad drives but I guess it could happen.

If you ever view them, yes you need them. If you don't then you don't. The option wouldn't be there if turning it off caused trouble.

For starters, you can stop making new threads about the same problem. Refer to advice given in your other threads.

Burn with Nero itself or mount in DAEMON Tools, use ImgBurn to 'Read' to a new BIN/CUE file and then burn that.

Bad drive/firmware/media combo. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc and buy some decent discs.

It's very unlikely a firmware update would crash a system. If you mean you're getting BSOD now, you'd have to examine the memory dump file to see what the actual problem is. Seriously, you're just wasting time with those blanks. Even if you do finally get 1 that burns and verifies ok, it'll probably stop working before you put it in a case!

This is some drive/firmware/media combo issue. You can update the firmware using files found here - http://www.firmwarehq.com/BenQ/DW1620/files.html If that doesn't solve it, change one of the other two (or both). Personally I'd ditch the discs and buy something decent.

Update the firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NS50/files.html Try all the supported speeds. If 2 drives are failing to burn anything on those discs, maybe it's their fault and not the drives.
