  1. ImgBurn handles booktype stuff on Samsung drives automatically. Of course you have to actually burn the disc to have the drive change the booktype as instructed by the program. You can't burn that image with the layerbreak in the position it's meant to be - it's not a 'legal' place for any media an end user can burn. If you can't ignore the warning/use the suggested LB position and have a working disc, you're out of luck.
  2. It's in the FAQ. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&view=findpost&p=972
  3. Use the '-conf "filename.conf"' command line switch to point it at another one. Telling it where to load something from is something you'd normally put in the config file... but it's a little hard to relocate the config file from within itself I've read that it'll load a dosbox.conf file from the folder of the app you're running. Not sure if that would fit your needs though.
  4. You should use a BD-RE if you're having problems, no point in wasting BD-R just testing stuff that has already failed multiple times. I'm sure they've tested multiAVCHD's PS3 option and it should produce a disc (with all the right folders) that works on a PS3 - otherwise there would be no point in it! You should post an ImgBurn log if you want us to check it's burning correctly - as per the pink box up the top Playback issues are best dealt with by forums supporting whatever program authored/created the files you burnt. In your case, that would be multiAVCHD which lives over at the Doom9 forums.
  5. Do you have a log of you burning + verifying a disc you're trying to change the booktype on? If it is a driver issue, you're every bit as capable of searching for updated AMD SATA controller drivers as I am. I have links to Intel ones (because they're what I use), but not anything else.
  6. Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden (Victor JVC)
  7. Go get another non LG drive. It's hard to believe you've had 2 bad drives but I guess it could happen.
  8. If you ever view them, yes you need them. If you don't then you don't. The option wouldn't be there if turning it off caused trouble.
  9. For starters, you can stop making new threads about the same problem. Refer to advice given in your other threads.
  10. Burn with Nero itself or mount in DAEMON Tools, use ImgBurn to 'Read' to a new BIN/CUE file and then burn that.
  11. Please post a burn+verify log - as per the pink box up the top
  12. Bad drive/firmware/media combo. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc and buy some decent discs.
  13. It's very unlikely a firmware update would crash a system. If you mean you're getting BSOD now, you'd have to examine the memory dump file to see what the actual problem is. Seriously, you're just wasting time with those blanks. Even if you do finally get 1 that burns and verifies ok, it'll probably stop working before you put it in a case!
  14. It shouldn't be too difficult, just anything Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden (now Victor JVC). Both of which can be purchased from http://www.totalblankmedia.com
  15. This is some drive/firmware/media combo issue. You can update the firmware using files found here - http://www.firmwarehq.com/BenQ/DW1620/files.html If that doesn't solve it, change one of the other two (or both). Personally I'd ditch the discs and buy something decent.
  16. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  17. Update the firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NS50/files.html Try all the supported speeds. If 2 drives are failing to burn anything on those discs, maybe it's their fault and not the drives.
  18. The program would handle your Samsung drive automatically. If it's not working then either the drive doesn't support it or it's being blocked by your drivers. Post the Family Tree info for your drive please. Right click the drive selection box and you'll see the 'Family Tree' option on the context menu.
  19. What you're seeing is now normal. Your image is bigger than the discs available to us. Do your homework at an xbox related news site.
  20. There's a problem with your source (K:\) drive - i.e. failing hdd.
  21. The 'Reset DMA' feature in ImgBurn is aimed at Windows XP really, not Vista or Windows 7. No harm done though. You'd have to try the device manager route described in the DMA post in the FAQ. Uninstall the controller and reboot. Even that may not work as it would appear you've connected the drive to a 3rd party controller card. Does it have to be on that? There are only a few that actually work properly with optical drives - I have no experience with those 'Promise' ones. If you want to put an optical drive on a 3rd party PCI card, something with the Silicon Image chipset (Sil3512) is what you should be going for. btw, service pack 1 is out for Windows 7.
  22. Ok, so try with that filter removed.
  23. How would you not notice it in the same place as the main 'Set Program Mode' option you changed?!
  24. Which Intel RST drivers are you running? With my controller set to AHCI mode in the BIOS and the v10.8.0.1003 Intel RST drivers installed, I have no such issue with reading CD-TEXT. It could be a drive issue but it shouldn't be. Do you have any filter drivers listed? (check the feature in the Tools menu) Same issue if you boot into safe mode?
  25. Ah, they're random due to a bug in the code I've fixed it ready for the next release. It only reads the LIST -> INFO tags though, not anything from the extra ID3 tag on the end of the file. There's nothing in the INFO chunk for Album Artist though, that must be ID3 tag only.
