  1. lol just saves me having to ask them to provide their email, this way I just hit reply and attach the dklang file
  2. email email email email... it's easier/better/faster/cheaper
  3. What type of files are you burning? You can't have multiple VIDEO_TS folders on a disc, they don't work like that.
  4. With all those buffer problems, you're either burning from a very slow source drive or your DMA is all messed up. Follow the post in the FAQ about fixing it (it involves uninstalling the controller from within device manager and rebooting).
  5. The only crucial step is that you use Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs. No, it's not normal for the finalisation step to take that long. It's normally a couple of minutes tops.
  6. Yeah sorry about that, it's been fixed in the next version. Just open regedit and expand the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT main branch. Locate the 'DVD' key and off that you'll find the 'Read Using ImgBurn' key that you need to delete.
  7. If you think anyone is gonna help you copy discs in this forum you can think again - especially rental ones!
  8. Yup, the '&' is for keyboard shortcuts - the character after the & is the shortcut key. Borland kinda deals with them automatically in menus (makes them unique) but you can specify your own, as I have done there. Unless you're lucky and the translated word happens to have the same character in it, it's probably safer if you leave the & out. Where there are 2 &'s next to each other, that's where I actually want a real '&' character in the string.
  9. ImgBurn doesn't help get past any protection at all. If it can't be read at the most basic level, ImgBurn can't help you (as is the case with 360 games).
  10. Maybe it depends on the current format of the file? On a new translation it went to unicode for me. Or maybe it depends on if it thinks you need it? If your locale is already right for the file format you're saving, maybe it goes to ansi instead of unicode... who knows!
  11. This thread is for talk about translations. Please don't ask for them in here, it's a thread to assist the people actually doing them. The language files themselves are available on the download page of the main website. PLEASE do not post translations in here (unless they're for 'testing'), email them to me. You can find the email address in the program's 'About' box. ============================================================= The current base file is v1.0.0.7 (for ImgBurn v2.4.4.0) and you can download it here. Below you'll find the 'differences' report (made in Beyond Compare) so you can see what's changed / been added since the previous version. It's important that you use it to pick up on where the existing text for items has been edited. The DKLang program only makes totally new (or deleted) entries obvious. Language_File_1.0.0.7_Differences_Report.zip Language_File_1.0.0.6_Differences_Report.zip Please Note: The differences reports must be done in number order! So if you're updating from 1.0.0.5, you need to look at the 1.0.0.6 differences report and make the necessary changes before then looking at the 1.0.0.7 one.
  12. Only you know what 'add a file for copying to cdr' actually means. Are you talking about an image file or just some other random file? There are guides which cover both, please try following them first and then come back if you still have problems. If you get an error message, tell us EXACTLY what it says.
  13. I didn't even see that as an option when I tried it out! Edit: Ah, in the save box. It defaults to unicode so that's cool
  14. Get different discs. Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
  15. Yup, they normally have one or more little brushes on the disc that you apply some sort of solution to before letting them pass over the lense to clean it.
  16. MKM 001-000 = Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL. Well it means the program can't block the OS from polling the drive - meaning it could try and cut in at any moment and potentially kill the burn.
  17. DMA issues, try following the post in the FAQ. Search will probably find you other posts showing the same error - and with additional help/answers.
  18. Forget about the Ritek S04, get some 2.4x Verbatim DVD+R DL's instead.

    Birthday

I think Snazz is now officially MIA. Happy Birthday anyway!
  25. Preserve full pathnames makes imgburn record the ENTIRE folder structure. So if you add the folder C:\windows\system32\drivers you'll get a windows folder in the root of the cd, with a system32 one inside that and a drivers one inside that. If the option is off you'll just get the drivers folder in the root (even that is optional if it's the only folder). Recurse subdirectories just means it includes folders below the one you've selected.
