  1. ifo/bup/vob files? You can just drag + drop them to the source list. ImgBurn will detect that you probably want a DVD Video disc (you confirm it) and it builds one accordingly.
  2. No, it's not a virus.
  3. 1. Never gonna happen I'm afraid. Use a dedicated backup tool. 2. See above. 3. It does that if you're burning in a queue, if not, no need to be so lazy - just click the start button again!
  4. If you set the speed to 2.4x it should burn at that speed (and no faster) for the entire disc, not just for the first layer. When you say 'quit' do you mean it errors out? (as in how it does in your initial post) That's normal if you use crappy media, it's not normal if you're using Verbatim discs and getting decent quality burns!
  5. No, that's still it. I won't be doing any more on it before the next release.
  6. That's not really the way circular buffers work but I can see your point. To implement it I'd have to just keep on waiting for it to empty and synchronise the activity between threads. That is of course subject to it knowing all the files are on the same drive in the first place. Seems a bit of a bodge to me though. My advice then would be to: 1. Perhaps invest in a 2nd hdd if it's something you do frequently. (I know I always go from 1 drive to another) 2. Burn on the fly and not via an image.
  7. Just get the latest 1.22 firmware. You don't need any drivers besides the generic ones windows will install automatically.
  8. I doubt you've had that exact dye before. You cannot go by the brand name, it means nothing. It's the dye that's important.
  9. I 23:41:04 Writing Layer 0... (LBA: 0 - 1913759) I 23:49:55 Writing Layer 1... (LBA: 1913760 - 3697695) I 23:58:07 Synchronising Cache... The speed isn't changing after the LB, it's burning at 6x all the time. But then for that burn you'd left 'Write Speed' on MAX. I 23:39:58 Write Speed: MAX
  10. Throw it in the bin and try again. If it happens again, switch to Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL media.
  11. Verbatim often use Taiyo Yuden dyes. Both are excellent quality and only do the grade A discs. Verbatim discs using the MCC dye are also excellent. I personally use TYG02 dye discs (Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R media) most of the time. They're available under both brand names.
  12. That's a brand new dye and your drive probably doesn't support it. Get some different discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
  13. No, not really. You'd be breaking the DVD Video spec if you used unicode. So just think up another volume label.
  14. Oh shit, hang on... you're burning a DVD Video disc yeah? Unicode is forced to 'off' on DVD Video discs as it's not supposed to use it. So your Unicode text is being converted to Ascii.
  15. You probably need to remove software like 'Nero InCD' and whatever Roxio's equivalent is - not the whole package. I couldn't say if that'll make a difference to you, only you know how you normally burn things. Personally I've never installed that stuff and I'm obviously still alive.
  16. Thanks for that. The real issue is from the data returned by this command: It doesn't match the info in the TOC (table of contents). I'll try and implement a workaround for the next version.
  17. Just try one more thing for me.... Eject the disc and then press the F8 button to enable debug mode. Now reinsert the disc and when it comes up with 'Disc Not Supported (Audio)' in the status bar as it normally does, press F8 again. Now copy + paste everything from the log window into your next post.
  18. Looks like a firmware bug as it's reporting incorrect TOC info and not saying the track is a data track. I assume it's fine if you put the disc in a different drive?
  19. 2 years old?! Double it and you'll be closer.
  20. Sorry, I can't do anything if the unicode part isn't working for you. The controls I'm using must just not support the ones you're typing in.
  21. You read the disc to an image in 'Read' mode and then write it to a disc in 'Write' mode.
  22. ImgBurn being 'outdated' doesn't come into it. This isn't ImgBurn's problem. This forum has nothing to do with decryption and I'm afraid we can't help you.
  23. Copy + paste the info from the panel on the right when you've got one of the problem discs in the drive.
  24. Not when you're in Write mode it doesn't. Perhaps you weren't following the right guide?!
  25. Didn't look very hard then Advanced -> Restrictions. Then you'll see a UDF tab.
