    I 03:23:12 Destination Device: [0:1:0] MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ8A0AS 1.00 (D:) (ATAPI)
I 03:23:12 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66)
    I 03:23:12 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 2,4x; 6x

    I 03:23:12 Write Speed: 4x

    W 03:23:13 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 5 540 KB/s (4x), Got: 3 324 KB/s (2,4x)
W 03:23:13 The drive only supports writing these discs at 2,4x; 6x.

Your drive can only burn those discs at 2,4x and 6x.

2,4x was used instead of 4x. Try 6x.

If that don't produce you a good disc you really need to get the real deal, Verbatim MKM.

Also you should update ImgBurn to current version.

  2. The log don't indicate any problems.

Does the disc plays in the computer with a software player? PowerDVD, Total Media Theatre, etc.

Does the player run any other disc, burned or original pressed discs?

Try cleaning the player with a lens cleaning disc.

Look for updated firmware for your player.

  3. Your drive is ancient.

Try again with the latest firmware installed. http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1360-file_SOFOPD-00788004-US.EXE.html

    Try different speeds available.

Cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc may help also.

Buy some better discs. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are the recommendation.

Get a new drive that can burn the disc you use.

Use the latest version of ImgBurn. Just copy the new .exe from Program Files\ImgBurn to Program Files\DVD Flick\imgburn

    PS.

LOL. First link in Google for Sony DW-D22A http://reviews.cnet.com/dvd-drives/sony-dw-d22a-dvd/4505-3212_7-31206077.html

You better get a new drive.

  4. Put the disc you want to read in the drive.

Switch to Create image file from files/folders.

Add all the content from the disc to the Source window.

Set Destination to ISO file and give a name to the file and save it where you want, just remenber the location.

After the ISO is created take out the disc and put a blank one in the drive.

Switch to Write mode (Write image file to disc) and point the source to the file created.

Burn the image, leave verify enabled.
