  1. Ah, that's poorly designed menu of a DVD. The standalone DVD player has no problem to recognize the button but on a software player with it's tiny clickable area you got a problem. In the process of the design of the menu it is advisable to extend the clickable area of the button to overlap the text.
  2. Tried out all mirrors and the files are the same on first 6 mirrors exactly as LIGHTNING UK! say in the quote. At mirror 2 by BetaNews tried to force some "FileForum_installer". A blocker probably will solve this and you can get the correct file form the "click here to begin the download." link. At mirror 6 by MajorGeeks they tried to force their installer "MG002.exe" with the big "Download Now" button and their first mirror. The second and third mirror will get you the correct file. You can get it also with the yellow "Official Mirror" button placed after the "ImgBurn 2.5.8.0" on their site. Eventually you can get the same installer from all 6 mirrors.
  3. Tick both boxes for BD Video...
  4. Still, you come to the forum after that "longggggg while".
  5. Make the necessary adjustments in Build Mode > Advanced > Restrictions > UDF >
  6. Yes, you can put 4 hours on Dual Layered DVD. The size of the VOBs is related to the compression applied to the movie length to fit on target size. The VOBs will always be splited in max. 1,048,544 KB sizes Standard DVD Single Layer can hold 120 minutes though you can squeeze more but the final quality will suffer.
  7. I know I read that CMC bought the whole production line, dye material and farming technology from Taiyo Youden just to keep producing the same professional quality disc as JVC delivered. I am using the CMC Taiyo Yuden DVD-R printable Watershield Glossy White Inkjet MID: TYG03. So far I burned 2 cakes of 50 discs and not a coaster. And the image printed with Canon Pixma iP 7250 also looks great. As I see, it is marketed as "CMC PRO" Powered by Taiyo Yuden. I don't have a Pioneer or LiteOn drive to scan the discs but as far as they work its a good thing, I'll say. Maybe they do the same thing with Verbatim and buy all the thechnology with the production line. We'll see.
  8. Try MiniTool Partition Wizard. https://www.minitool.com/partition-manager/ There is a free version that does the job if you dont like the Disk Management route.
  9. The R: is the letter assigned by Windows to that drive.
  10. Than use output to Half D1 resolution.
  11. Oh, I meant the output resolution you set. Full D1 or Half D1? Your image is 501 x 499 pixels. Here you'll find a better resolution of that image https://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Who-Pirate-Planet-Novelisation/dp/1785295314 If you used Full D1 your image is upscaled to 720 x 576 (PAL) or 720 x 480 (NTSC) and padded with black bars for the aspect ratio 4:3 (Narrow screen) or 16:9 (Wide screen) if you mentain the original aspect ratio of the image and don't set it to fit the screen. Half D1 would be 352 x 576 (PAL) or 352 x480 (NTSC). Since it's a still image that probably don't matter too much but if you need to read it (small fonts) it's better to use a higher resolution of the image that is downscaled to DVD resolution.
  12. Default is just default for easy fix setting the chapter time. You can change chapter time in ConvertXToDVD without setting it to default. Go to the Chapter tab (Clock symbol tab) and click on each chapter start time to manualy input the time to start the chapter. Also you can click and drag the chapter markers under the video in preview editor to set the chapter length. I'm just curious what resolution you used for that still image.
  13. There are many more than those 5. Many languages use diacritics. In my language (Romanian) are ă, î, â, ș, ț, that should convert to a, i, a, s, t. I'm pretty sure that are existing conversion tables containing all off the possible conversions that could be used by a programmer.
  14. In my opinion, if it ever changes any letter, it should change it into similar letter without acccents or diacritics NOT with underscores. á, é, í, ó, ú, should be a, e, i, o, u ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - + < > ? \ / or any similar character can go into underscores.
  15. If you want DVD Video you need an authoring program like DVDStyler or DVDFlick. Consider that SL discs can hold 120 minutes, DL discs can hold 240 minutes at standard quality.
  16. From Premiere export the project to DVD Folder than burn that folder content (VIDEO_TS folder) with ImgBurn.
  17. You should go to DVDStyler Forum and ask there for help and guidance with that problem. This is ImgBurn Forum and we will help you with ImgBurn related problems if you need.
  18. There is room for about 5000 lines if I remember correctly.
  19. The "Quick OK" button is described in the Guides - The ImgBurn Functions - Section [*]4.4 Create CUE File... Also the "Preserve Full Pathnames" is described there.
  20. @ dbminter. No. He sure has the "Preserve Full Pathnames" unchecked and uses the "Quick OK" button to get to the burn point in the "Create cue file..." window. @ dr_ml422 If you are using "Quick OK" button you need to tick (enable) "Preserve Full Pathnames" box, than you can move the cue wherever you want if you want to save it for further uses. Otherwise you need to use "OK" button that will bring up a "Save as..." window to select a location and that will automatically enable Preserve Full Pathnames in the cue file even if it is unticked (disabled) in the "Create cue file..." window.
  21. As you describe in the last post this seams to be cumbersome. As I see it in your description you complicate things that don't need to be complicated. First, I don't know what MvP editor is but that don't matter. Why are you converting AVI to mpeg2 than cut to scenes (segments, as you say) than author the project than if it don't fit, shrink it to fit DVD 5? This could be done in one go from AVI to DVD Video with pretty much any decent authoring program and that includes intro movie, menus, titles sets, chapters... and all should fit in one DVD 5. I'm pretty sure DVDStyler can do this. You can also try DVD Flick. In one DVD 5 at standard quality it should fit 2 hours (120 minutes) no problem. That's including motion menus and intro movie. Set the audio to Dolby rather to PCM if that is an option in the authoring program. That will let more room for video quality. You just need to set the target to DVD 5 in the output project and the program should do it's thing and squeeze the project to fit DVD 5.
  22. Virtual CloneDrive usually does the trick. Maybe you'll have a look. https://www.elby.ch/en/products/vcd.html
  23. What button do you clicked and what file you get? Under the description table there is a message: "The download link to the right is enabled with our secure download manager to ensure a successful, faster download. You can download this file without our download manager here." The file you'd get should be: File: Setup_ImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe CRC-32: 1af3cd36 MD4: 968d02234ea91f221913b03d81e3983e MD5: 4bf2b8f4b46385bfda4d65e423cfb868 SHA-1: 6a3d20796e1fcd4169d5d339af6e491dcea3367c
  24. The correct download button it's the one on the right of the description not the big one on the top.
