    mmalves.....

Hope it was a great day. Regards
  3. I'll chirp in before LFC. Dunno what a reslut is but I'll have one thanks. Regards
  4. It's easier for us if you stick to the one thread please. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...mp;p=53818& Regards
  5. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. 1. I suppose the prog is offering to break on a VOBU (which is within the cell) and on an error correction boundary (in the event it can't break at a new cell like it is supposed to). I'd reject the offer and remaster the project. 2. Many modern players (and many older ones) seem to play seamless LB OK. No-one can give you a percentage though. However, I'd reckon it is quite high, as superbit DVDs exist which are seamless. Just give it a try. 3. You can do a PIPO scan on your old disk and see if they are still OK. Regards
  6. @digidragon and LUK! I was working on the premise that the LB cell would need a split. Regards
  7. You'll need to remaster the disk. See http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...amp;#entry53908 Regards
  8. Re the web page .... Serif fonts are harder to read IMHO. And I agree with Jill. Regards
  9. Load your files into PgcEdit. Then click burn. After some setup, it will tell you where to split the DVD. Then use VobBlanker to do so - guide on site. Regards
  10. It would load if the BUP is intact. Regards
  11. Yeah, you may need to split a cell to get the LB possie correct. The disk as it is is not mastered correctly. Regards
  12. Mindreaders!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA =)) =)) Regards
  13. LOL mmalves. You could fit the data of a small country on something that size now. Regards
  14. OIC. It wouldn't matter. If VIDEO_TS.IFO is buggered, FixVTS wouldn't load it either. Regards
  15. Donta - I am sure the prog FixVTS is not being referenced. I suspect it is ImgBurn's Get VTS Sectors routine (perhaps a change in nomenclature is warranted in the log). Regards
  16. LOL - never - he only has about 6,500 posts Regards
  17. This is most likely due to a bad rip/conversion. All VIDEO_TS.IFO files start off with the characters DVDVIDEO-VMG. If these are not present, no dice. There are of course, lots of other means of corrupting the IFO. Go back to square 1 and start again is my advice. Or, if you know what you are doing, try to repair the file in IfoEdit. Perhaps try copying VIDEO_TS.BUP to VIDEO_TS.IFO and see if that fixes the problem. Regards
  18. Thanks for the info mate. Just seems strange that the old decrepit drives are inside the box. Regards
  19. I like the "box" And Wandering Freeloader, that's an interesting idea. Regards
  20. You don't need to open the PC up to check the BIOS. Press Del after a reboot and mess around looking for the DMA settings. Have you installed anything recently? There is also a script which can fix DMA - see http://winhlp.com/?q=node/10 Regards
  21. You fix it by taking the advice we give instead of ignoring it or arguing with us. Why bother coming asking for help and ignoring the very sound advice and then pleading for more help? LG aren't real good at firmware updates. Ritek is shit, so is CMC. Burning on USB means you should be slowwwwwwwwwww - 1x is all I'd go. Now, go buy some bloody Verbs and see if that helps. And if you still got an issue, post a log. Regards
  22. All's well that ends well ... Regards
  23. Totally crazy to encode to NTSC first. Why do 2 framerate conversions? If you want NTSC, leave it there - your PC couldn't give a fuck. Anyway, you need to do a rate conversion for the audio as well as the vid. Regards
  24. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum Linda. What drive do you have? Open ImgBurn and switch to write mode and cut and paste the info in the top right (it will be in grey). Once we know this, we can recommend up to date firmware. New PCs especially, seem to be several versions behind. The blank disks we recommend are either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Anything else is just inferior and cheap. You really want to check what's called the MID code. Again, in write mode, insert a blank and see the DISC-ID info in the top right. Regards
  25. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum Justin. I'd start by popping the drive into an IDE port inside the PC, rather than on a firewire port and getting rid of the DVD-ROM/CD writer which is inside the PC. If you must burn externally, slow the speed to 1x. Remember to use bitsetting. You may like to test the disk in DVDInfoPro or Ner0 CDSpeed. Regards
