Hello Darthpc, in a way i understand you, cuz your new, and in another way, i understand them too... Listen, They constantly keep dealing with people "Not Reading" the Forum Tips in the BIG PINK RECTANGLE.... So i know it gets really irritating for them after answering the same thing over and over again, every day after every day,,,, you get the point.... And is the BIG PINK RECTANGLE really that small? But to answer your problem, we need a Log File of the burning process because that file will pretty much tell us all we need to know in order to ping point your problem... Now that u dont have it, its hard to say.... My first steps would be to make sure my DVD drive has the latest Firmware and that i use only the best quality media such as VERBATIM and Taiyo-Yuden... But like i said, No Log = No Accurate Solutions or No Log = -peace-

Cannot find disk drives after using daemon tools
eSkRo replied to strey101's topic in ImgBurn Support
If you have any problems, try running your anti-rootkit apps in SAFE MODE -
Dunno how to respond to that....

I do use DVD Shrink. If I find the re-author mode, what do I do then, or what will I see? I don't know much about Shrink except that I do "open files" and "backup". Thanks again for any help. This is not the DVDShrink support forum, and your question is not about ImgBurn, sorry. But you can find the answers to that and many other questions about Shrink by simply using Google to look for them.

Cannot find disk drives after using daemon tools

i recall installing Deamon Tools too.... wonder if that app corrupted my DVD-RW... hmmmm.... -
i was reading about your DVD-Ram drive and found this: MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-851S ---------------------------------- Its also a well documented FACT that Matshita/Matsushita/Panasonic Drives are extremely Media picky Optical Drives and Require the use of known proven high quality top of the line error free Media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim Media. Attempting to use any lesser grade Media will only result in less than desirable results... Side note, you may also want to verify if you have the latest Firmware update for your DVD-Ram rive... as your drive is an OEM drive (notebook, laptop) then your only reliable source will be the manufacturer of the computer the drive came with... And as this is a Panasonic drive chance of finding firmware is very slow...

Select Any of the 5 available Modes first then use the Tools' -> 'Drive' -> 'Check For Firmware Updates...' feature."

it would be really nice if ImgBurn had its own "DVDInfoPro" !!! Im on a FRENCH XP SP3 and i cant make it work... i always get this error msg:
-
NOT enough space on this disc to burn the image
eSkRo replied to Allen Cain's topic in ImgBurn Support
very true -
then just import that "wmv" into a "VIDEO to DVD converter".... like: -DVDFlick (free) (does also the burning part for you) -ConvertXtoDVD (Pay) (does also the burning part for you) (this one's my recommandation)
