As I am sure you know, if you want to buy a DVD?RW they are not very expensive and decent ones include the recent ones by Pioneer, NEC and BenQ amongst others.

Ah as corny guessed in his post above this bit tells us that you have a DVD-ROM for watching DVD's and a CD Rewriter...... You will need to get a DVD?RW to be able to write DVD's........

I have to agree with you guys the story about Rose and her dad was great, I didn't even mind the time monsters..... There were very similar monsters in this weeks episode of the second series - Krillians I think they were called.... The episodes about WW2 and the Lost Child are excellent too !

Erm what were you burning ? Was it a PC game ? Sounds like there is copy protection at work here if it was and we can't help you bypass that......... Please give us some more details of what you were burning etc and if its not copy protection we can take a look.

They are sold freely here in the UK too - its a shame cos people new to burning seem to end up with them and it causes all sorts of problems....

Especially not as I have had the courtesy of pinning it up on the fridge door where the mrs will see it the most !!
