I would guess thats more luck than anything the Ritek media is nowhere near as good as the Verbatim DVD+R DL's. I only use the latter to avoid these kind of problems....

Parallel Track Path or Opposite Track Path, so how the second layer is written in relation to the first...... For instance from inside to outside and then from the outside to the inside on the second layer = OTP From inside to outside on both layers = PTP I think !!

Maybe PTP/OTP problems as with the PS2 ?

Have you burnt any of these discs in this spindle without an error ? Are the discs from your usual supplier ?
