I sorry but I busy. You might want to get into the habit of preloading your media then and anyway you will still have to wait for the drive to initialise before the write will begin even given your method ! ImgBurn cannot overwrite the drives internal checks etc....

Only just found this post but I saw the exact same thing with Champions League Final tickets, respectable sellers with 200-300 + feedback were selling tickets but listing them under clothes or make up etc. The ads got me suspicious tho as the seller wanted to be contacted via gmail rather than e-bay and kept going on about paypal fees being too expensive. So, I contacted the seller via e-bay and not their supposed gmail account and they confirmed that their account had been hacked and they too had told e-bay and were waiting for them to take action. This occured at least 5x times that I saw.

Does it always fail at the same spot ? Is this disc copy protected ? If so ImgBurn will not read it....... you would need another program for that and we can't help you with that ! Is the disc dirty or damaged ?

Please can you tone down the references to "downloading" your .iso's if you don't we can't help you ! We don't condone piracy of any sort here in the forum, well except Pirates of the Caribbean, and if your persist you will have to go elsewhere for help ! My guess would be a format issue as suggested above, if your PC plays them fine but your standalone player doesnt on different media and different .iso's that seems the most likley reason. Where in the world are you ? For instance if you were in the US and these .iso's were in PAL format it appears (from other posts in these forums) that US DVD players and tv's are less happy to play the European TV format...

Yeah I agree your drive doesn't like the RICOHJPN dye on that dual layer media you are using. Altho Verbatim DVD+R DL's are more expensive they are definitely worth it in the long run !

If you had gone any further ImgBurn will warn you that you are trying to burn an .iso that is too big for a single layer disc ImgBurn is assuming that if you select an uncompressed .iso then YOU know what you are doing and will be inserting a dual layer disc for the media. As above if you insert a single layer disc you will see a warning screen before the burn begins and then you can either use a compressing program or a DL disc.
