  1. Tried the same sector size in my Samsung SH-S223F writer and I couldn't trigger that error.
  2. Perhaps the stand alone players laser head needs to be cleaned?
  3. In the verify part of the log you should see this if it worked.
  4. Hi and welcome to the forum, zanvetto! What brand/model of writer do you have? The settings are located here: Main Menu -> Tools -> Device -> Change Booktype
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum, GETitDONE! These are the supported write speeds: Sure that is the right setting in the BIOS? (SCSI) or (ATA) is the normal one.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum, jlb! Curious. Why don't you use the verify option to see if there is any problems during the re-read? Another thing - your Sony writer is a re badged Lite-On (Nice scanners) - try to do a a scan on the disc quality with either Nero DiscSpeed or DVDInfoPro to see how good your burns really are.
  7. The error seems related to specific sector sizes. Try to change the size of the image and it 'should' work (if you don't encounter another tricky sector size). http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7776
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum, rivetgun55! You use the 'Read' mode. Yes. Guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6380
  9. This title is a $ony DVD and your issue is that the DVDs you are trying to read are sector protected and that's why you are getting the reading errors. ImgBurn does not bypass protections.
  10. Hi and welcome to the forum, Michael John Wilhelm! What version of FireFox is you using? Same thing if you open up Internet Explorer?
  11. Happens normally when the hard disk with the source can't feed the writer fast enough. Do you run another program at the same time as you burn?
  12. According to the ASUS homepage the latest is AMD Chipset Driver V1.2.0.2 for Windows Vista 32bit/Vista 64bit http://support.asus.com/download/download....SLanguage=en-us
  13. Hi and welcome to the forum, Teddy G! Sounds as an issue with your chip set drivers for the motherboard. Last ones installed? What brand of chipset is on the board?
  14. Looks as the burned disc could not be read (verify error). Low quality brand used? Burned to fast? Might give some more clues if you posts the log. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum, Dwayne Gitter! Use the 'Read' mode in the program and see if the burned disc can be read and also if you had the option 'Verify' enabled it should have told you if the disc could be read.

  18. It's 'snaps' in Sweden. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snaps
  19. There is a setting 'Add overscan borders' in the preferences of DVD Flick. It might help. There should also be a setting aspect ratio in your stand alone player on how the TV format should be played.
  20. Your writer identifies the same discs as with different write speeds available. I 12:25:15 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f) (Speeds: 4x, 10x, 16x, 24x, 32x) I 16:13:53 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f) (Speeds: 4x, 10x) The basic issue seems to be a write error W 16:14:02 Failed to Write Sectors 416 - 447 - Reason: Write Error Might be that you should try with another brand of discs.
  21. ImgBurn doesn't support multi sessions, so you can't add more stuff to an already written +R/-R disc.
