  1. Hi and welcome to the forum, sean_h_williams! What type of file is you trying to select? (.iso or something else?) If you right click on the file - you should see the option like - 'Burn with ImgBurn' - does that work? Might be that the file association is broken. You could check the default ones in ImgBurns settings. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=65057
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum, Lance Gessay! Sounds more as an issue with your stand alone player, as ImgBurn doesn't alter the video. There should be a setting in the players menu system on the default picture format, 4:3 or 16:9/letterbox/pan&scan. Something like this:
  3. What is K: for type of disk? A hard disk/net work disk?
  4. Yes, it's a shame as my Lite-On DH-20A3H give me very good burning results on most DVD brands + the jitter scanning feature.
  5. Install this program and extract the compressed .rar file with it. (Right click on the .rar file and extract it). Then you should see the files and your computer should be able to use them. http://www.7-zip.org/
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum, alomar123! It might be a Lite-On ATAPI DVD A DH16A1L you have. Can't find any later firmware for it. Can you post a burn log that shows the error you are getting/or explain more what problem you have? Logs: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  7. I wonder if it will beat this thread... http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=520091
  8. Hi Soup! It only happens on certain image sizes. Try to use Discovery mode in ImgBurn and set the sector size to 1 800 174 and burn to a +R disc. http://club.cdfreaks.com/f44/liteon-dh20a3...tml#post2136571

  10. Might be because you did the DMA 'thing' after the burning with lead in
  11. You have the latest chip set drivers installed for the connection that the SATA is plugged into?
  12. I have Avira and also not that file. No problems here.
  13. DMA: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...dpost&p=967 I would try with 4x speed.
  14. Hi and welcome to the forum, mcballa2010! What exact model of burner do you have?
  15. If you are going to use +R single layer media - stay away from Lite-Ons. True - the 115/215 is a real
  16. Yes.

  18. You need to buy DVD +R DL media instead of the DVD -R DL media you currently have, as mmalves posted before.

  20. Hi and welcome to the forum, StephenG! No special Linux version, but it works nice under Wine. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5317
  21. Yes, that should work out well.
  22. I think that DVD Flick uses a script and that script went banana. I'm just curious if you manually closed down ImgBurn. There is a time gap between 13:23:07 and 13:24:38 in the posted log. Are you able to find the files that DVD Flick created after the encoding? If so - burn those .vob/.ifo/.bup files (or if it created an .iso file) with ImgBurn. Failed to check for update happens normally if there is no Internet connection open.
  23. I think DVD Flick should be able to convert them to DVD compliant files as .vob, .ifo and .bup files - that should be able to be played in your stand alone player.
  24. You need to convert it first if you are going to play it on a 'regular' DVD player.
