  1. Hi and welcome to the forum, followthereaper! Open up ImgBurn and select this Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs Then post the log of the failed burn. Memorex is not the best media. Your burner is a Lite-On.
  2. Do a disc scan in DVDInfoPro or Nero Discspeed to see how good the burn was. It might be that even if the verify was ok - there are weak points on the disc. http://www.cdspeed2000.com/ http://www.dvdinfopro.com/
  3. Computer drivers are often better at reading burned discs. Your stand alone player might not like burned discs?
  4. Do you know the model of the GB MB?
  5. Best results are in most cases to get an external USB or similar ones.
  6. Looks as others also had a lot of issues with this model. http://club.cdfreaks.com/f61/qsi-dvd-rw-sd...roblems-126489/
  7. There is a SB02 version of the firmware. http://www.samsungodd.com/Eng/Firmware/FWD...earchWord=s223f How is the SATA writer attached? Tried to use another SATA connection on the mother board? Tried to run a test of the RAM?
  8. Check in the BIOS of your computer if you can set it to IDE mode instead. (ATA mode) Any problems with burning DVDs?
  9. What brand/model of burner do you have and what brand of discs are your trying with? Have it worked before?
  10. Those Verbatims are of higher quality, that might help when reading in the car.
  11. You get an error in the log file (if the option is enabled during the write) if it has problems with OPC. It looks as you get the book type right. Perhaps the DVD reader in your car is very picky about the media. Verbatim (2.4x rated made in Singapore) could perhaps work better as media brand.
  12. Might be that you have connected the USB hard disk to an USB 1.x gateway instead of a 2.0.
  13. You will see a big spike at the end of the end of the disc if you do a disc scan in either Nero DiscSpeed or DVDInfoPro. Tried to find a scan of one of my discs to show you, but I'm not very well organized...
  14. Yes, you can re-create the .bup file by coping the .ifo file. What you need is one VIDEO_TS.IFO file (and the .bup file) + VTS_01_0.IFO file (and the .bup file) if you have one VTS (~title) in your DVD project) so something is not OK in your project.
  15. Your G: drive can't feed the writer fast enough. Is it an USB connected one? Check that DMA is enabled for that hard disk.
  16. Hi and welcome to the forum, WilliamKF! Switch to 'Write' mode and you'll see the Device menu. Normally ImgBurn should apply the book type automatic for LGs - if you have the 'Auto Change Book Type' option enabled in the Write tab in the settings. Some older writers have problems if the 'Perform OPC...' is enabled - that's why it got disabled by default in the later versions. I have it enabled.
  17. Normally ImgBurn should apply the book type automatic for Samsungs - if you have the 'Auto Change Book Type' option enabled in the Write tab in the settings.
  18. That shrinking program can't handle layer breaks - so it's not good for creating DL images.
  19. Welcome to the forum, SOAPY taco! Your writer is showing up as connected (Fibre) - how is the BIOS set up - as IDE?
  20. Hi and welcome to the forum, pharcyde2! It looks as your writer doesn't like the brand you are using. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  21. Hi and welcome to the forum, mattc! As it's a commercial DVD i think it's copy protected and ImgBurn can't read such DVDs.
  22. There is a later firmware version - 2.1B http://www.sonynec-optiarc.eu/en/support-s...-nd-series.html
  23. There is a 1.14 version of the firmware. It might work better with that brand of media. DRW_1814BL_FW114_1129.zip
  24. Hi and welcome to the forum, oriramone! Can you post the log of that failed burn? You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
