  1. The drive you are using must have been released 2006/2007 so I guess it was a used one you replaced the dead one with?
  2. Happy Birthday!

  3. Try a burn with OPC disabled. Not all combinations of media/burner like that setting.
  4. One reason in the future to update is that Microsoft will not release any security updates after 13th July 2010 for XP SP2. http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/news/2009/12/support-for-windows-xp-sp2-windows-2000-ends-july-13-2010.ars
  5. Have you been in to BIOS and seen what the settings are in there?
  6. There should be other SATA connectors on that mother board to use at #26. Not all can be RAID. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/xps630i/en/SM/HTML/techov.htm#wp1180262 Have you tried to attach the burner to another SATA connector?
  7. Do you know what model of mother board you have? (It should be stated in the list in the ma-config.com page.)
  8. Can they play the content type you feed them with?
  9. Have you tried to attach the burner to a non RAID connector? RAIDS + optical drives are normally not a happy marriage. Could also see if you have the latest chip set drivers installed. http://www.ma-config.com/
  10. That's not a log. It's disc information. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  11. Have you tried to play it another player? I have had players that refused to play certain disc types, like bunred DL media.
  12. Your driver reports the -R disc to be a RW disc.
  13. Sounds as an issue with your antivirus program. Did you install as an admin?
  14. That option will not do what you want.
  15. Is the disc info from a not used disc? If it's new it looks as your burner is on it's way out. Skip that firmware. You probably need firmware for a Fujitsu drive.
  16. Soi it's only the left setting that is of interest for you with the task your are doing. Can I guess that the iso you have mounted with VCD is located on the same hard disk as you are reading to? Not sure what you mean with "minor glitches". Is that slow writing speeds to the hard disk?
  17. There is a later version of the firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/Matshita/UJ-841S/files.html Could be that something is messing up your driver Can you switch to read mode and post the info in the right panel regarding disc info?
  18. Could be that you need to update your drivers. This page should find them for you. http://www.ma-config.com/
  19. Same issue if you try with 4x write speed?
  20. In the write mode window, you have set it to AWS and not MAX?
  21. Aone recently switched back to use this dye some months ago from the UME media code type. Perhaps your older, working discs had this media code? You can check by inserted an older working disc in the burner and use the read mode to see the media code in the right disc info panel.
  22. Perhaps post the log of the burn you just did?
  23. You should have used Google first and saved some money. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/592188 ImgBurn will not deal with copy protected games/discs.
