  1. Could try the other speeds 6x and 8x. 4x is what you have tried with last time.
  2. I bought my first DVD burner in 2004. It was a Nec 1300. Your burner was released before that model. They don't last forever. If your burner worked fine some days ago, it could be the discs that are not good. Could be a bad disc/spindle. Tried with another spindle of discs?
  3. 1. Try to clean the burner with a cleaning disc 2. Try a later firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-1100A/files.html 3. Get a new burner.
  4. Looks more as a Nero log to me. Looks as your burner doesn't like the Ritek media that you are using.
  5. Tried to restart the computer?
  6. Tools -> Drive -> UnLock Tray
  7. I've never seen any Taiyo Yuden DL media.
  8. Use the Ask Toolbar and search the forum for other threads that deals with the Ask Toolbar and you'll find it.
  9. Try to install the latest firmware for it. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/SHW-160P6S/files.html 16x as burning speed might be to fast. Try one of the lower ones. Edit: Mrs C Late here.
  10. To me it looks as you used an used disc and then decided to terminate the burn. After that you get the PMA update error. For a fresh/un used disc the value should be like this
  11. No. Depending on what's in the ISOs you can mount them and create a new build/compilation.
  12. The log when you got this message http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  13. If you have (especially Pioneer) a burner that verifies very slowly it can be due to that drive. If you get decent verify speeds at around 14-16x you can ignore the warning.
  14. Not yet. Current version of ImgBurn doesn't support multi sessions.
  15. All four logs are burnt at 4x. Have you tried 6x and 8x?
  16. Was those discs burnt with the same model of burner as you have?
  17. My own experience with TDK. Used those for some years ago but later spindles showed that they had big issues in the outer edges of the discs when you played them. TDK was a nice brand some years ago, but today they sell crap IMHO.
  18. Look at post #5. A blanc disc should show you this: 4 173 824 Sectors
  19. There is a later SB03 version of that firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S223F/files.html
  20. You could check this page to see that you have the latest drivers installed. http://www.ma-config.com/
  21. Noticed that my Lite-On eSAU108 didn't trigger the 'Program Memory Area Update Failure' error, while my older firmware on the iHAS120 did trigger it. I wonder if this bug has been fixed in recent firmwares.
  22. The only power thing that can be related is that you need to attach both USB connectors if the light lamp turns red when you only use one USB connector. I have not noticed any type of red light blinking on the top of the burner, but how would I connect 2 USB cables to the burner in that case anyway? There is only one output on the drive? Thanks Aha. Mine had two, but it's a cheaper model.
