  1. You are trying to verify an empty disc?
  2. http://www.windowslifestyle.com/index.php/2010/04/turn-direct-memory-access-dma-on-or-off-in-windows-7/
  3. If it burns slower like 1x-2x it might be DMA issue. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&view=findpost&p=967
  4. The SPTD issue only affects verify speeds and in most cases a Pioneer. 2.4x is the highest speed with that media.
  5. The first signs of a "dying" burner happens often when you get wring/reading errors on DL media. Burners today are pretty cheap these days.
  6. What is firmware: http://club.myce.com/f61/f-q-pc-dvd-writers-revised-22-april-2006-a-118794/#fw-what A cleaning disc is a disc that cleans the lens. If that also fails, get a new burner.
  7. Might be worth a try with 2.4x as write speed. Latest firmware is installed + nice discs, so if it fails again, perhaps a cleaning disc could help.
  8. Most common reason is that the burner doesn't like the media. A log could tell us more. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  9. If you play the burned disc in the computer - do you have colours then?
  10. The cabinet that the burner is connected doesn't work very well and errors out. Perhaps something other attached to the USBs that disturbers it?
  11. There is a later firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H653A/files.html Not sure why you aborted the burn.
  12. Perhaps it's an old movie that was made in black & white? NTSC/PAL issue? If you mount the .img file and play it in your computer, still no colours?
  13. Please post a log. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632

Verbatim? There is a "label" sold under Verbatim that contains CMC discs. It's the Life Series line. A better name would perhaps be "The Death Series line". http://club.myce.com/f33/death-verbatim-311104/ So far it seems these discs are mainly sold in the US. The Advanced AZO label packages are the ones that holds the MCC media.
  15. Not sure what you mean. You need to buy a DVD disc to be able to burn that file.
  16. You need a DVD disc to hold all that data.

The full log would be nice. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  19. Was that really a fresh disc?
  20. Thanks for the reply. Ran the config tool and have all drivers up to date. Unfortunately still having the same problem After you clicked on the green button 'Run the detection' and it showed the results, did you also press the button 'Download drivers compatible with this configuration'?
  21. You can't avoid it.
  22. It's not.

  24. Could use this page to see if you have the latest drivers for the computer installed. http://www.ma-config.com/
