then do the other one if its the same drive, as the HH in description below is not exactly same but more than likely is same as filename for download is really DH-16W1S_2D15.zip

Update the firmware in your drives is at your own risk and down to you to research to make sure I have posted right links to your drive.

Seems like 4/5 discs get this when I try and Verify them, and only 1/5 discs will turn out fine. Could it be because of the DVD's I'm using or what?
With the drive in question the media issue is nearly irrelevant

YOU CANNOT make Multisession with ImgBurn, rather you cannot add anything.
Pioneer release Firmware for a reason.

You do not need to do that. It's already been done by ImgBurn when you wrote the disc.
Also upgrade your firmware in the pioneer 215D http://www.pioneer.co.uk/files/support/DVR...15D_FW118EU.zip

Pioneer 212 automatically sets DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM just burn it.
Note : That you need to be running modified firmware to be able to set DVD-ROM on Single layer +R
Dual Layer + R is Automatic with official pioneer firmware

Basically burn @8x results are good, higher than 8x and results start to drop down and full speed 20x is supposed to be not to hot compared with other LG models.

Update the drives firmware if you can find an update.
Change your media after that, then buy a new writer.

DO as it says in FAQ about DMA Issues.
Put the buffer back to default as well for your memory. Actually put the rest of ImgBurn back to default setings whilst your at it.

See if there is a firmware update for your drive. Get a cd lens cleaner CD and see if after you clean the drive/lens. it's any better.
If still the same change your media to Taiyo Yuden G02 or 8 x Mcc Verbatim

I think there are better things to do with a program than some of the recent suggestions.
Besides which thats the point of AUTO setting for you to input the max speed you want.
Also some of us actually a lot of us have drives that can go faster than they are meant to

I have the problem like you. I only have the problem with IMGBURN not the other. But I must use IMGBURN because of Xbox360. No other Choice !!!
Please try UltraISO, PowerISO, other programs, I think it's fine.

Is there a reason also for the UDF 2.50.
If your aim is to make AVC - BDMV, AVCHD then fine but if MPEG2 then you should be using 1.02

Always verify at time of burn especially on the poor media you are using.
Switch to verify mode now and verify against Image (browse to the bourne. dvd / iso you wrote) to see if it passes

whether it be in the guise of a liteon 1633 a sony dru 710a / an F16 there just not a very good drive.
The 2 liteons I had were absolute crap and tbh they were 1213s drives anyways
