    Nice price, let me know how you like it. Even though they don't have the speed upper hand right now, I'm still an AMD fan. I sometimes wish I'd have waited 1 month when I bot my 4800 X2, which was when AM2 came out. So my next upgrade means new MB & memory too.

    I should add, we Canadians do bugger all for Guy Fawkes day. I knew a little about it from when one time when I was in the UK visiting family, and the local town had their fireworks and burned him up. A bit of a tourist town, so that's probably why they do it. Great movie though, I picked it up on HD-DVD, great pic.

    Most fireworks are legal in Canada, with the huge exception of firecrackers of any size. I still have some 20 year old "Black Cats" I smuggled in from Montana. Blew a 100 pack off on the millennium eve, and of course a copper drove right up. Told me to keep them on the road, and off he went, lol. No M1's or any good en's available here, but roman candles, no problem, go figure.

    Thanks Guys, took the family to the mountains today, just got back. Was 30C at home, about 22C in the mount's. Stuck our feet in a river, then ran screaming away, water was about 5C!

    I didn't take your comments as narky LFC :) . I'll probably end up with a PS3 also, but I am warming to the 360, so who knows. In the end I still don't care who wins the format war, the HD-DVD discs I'll have will be as good as their BR counterparts (at least so far all movies that have been released on both are equal, eventually BR's greater capacity may prove different), so I'll not need to rebuy them on BluRay. Right now in Canada HD-DVD players are 1/2 price of BR players, so that along with their greater compatibility with older HD-TV sets (component video) decided it for me.

    I went with HD-DVD for now LFC as they have decently priced players(it does a nice job up-converting DVD's too) compared to BluRay. Who knows who'll win the war, if anyone, but BR does seem to have the upper hand. Universal is a hard line HD-DVD only supporter, and I couldn't wait to watch the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas HD-DVD I bot some months ago :rolleyes: plus Dawn of the Dead(2204) is coming out on HD-DVD only this summer :P Whatever happens, it won't be the first format I've bot into that's failed, <cough> Laserdisc <cough>. Thing is kirk, it's not the same picture, having watched The Matrix on HD, my DVD of it will never be watched again.

    How does AnyDVD interfer with imgburn?

    Like LUK said, when ImgBurn is verifying a burnt disc, it is comparing the disc to the original ISO. As AnyDVD is designed to change data as it's being read from an optical drive, it can make ImgBurn think that the data is not the same as the ISO. It's sort of like running the verify through an unnecessary filter instead of a clean read, hence the possible miscompare.
