Please post the entire logfile. Thanks.

As for the porn Shamus I thought a deal was in the offing to allow such films to be on bluray but obviously I don't really know much about that as those kind of films don't interest me !!!
As I said, it was a rumour and nothing else. Problem is that damage has been done yet again to $onys' reputation as a corporate bully. Try this: http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...earch&meta=

I'll be waiting a while too. Speculation was rife not too long ago that $ony threatened to revoke the licences of the "stampers" (those contracted to press the actual blu-ray disks) if they took contracts for pornographic films. Whether it's true or not is anyones' guess but what is known is that a large portion of the adult film business went across to HD-DVD. A $500 million a year industry (just in the USA) would have alot of pull.
Pull?
LOL!
*sigh*
Bedtime.

It's not a bad idea. What kills it is the crappy resolution. Nobody would be able to see what's going on with a font 2 pixels in height. I remember a video tutorial for DVD Decrypter done a few years ago that used some sort of screen capture software. I can't think what the name of it was now. It had a gecko or a chipmonk or something stupid in the name...... I think. Looked really good too. I'd host an ImgBurn tutorial if someone wanted to take a crack at it.

Moral of the story seems to be if you begin to get unusual errors with drives and disks that were working ok previously, try another drive!
*sigh*

Do yourself a favour and buy some decent discs.
Ohhh, I thought earlier posts said bad drive. But the answer is better blank discs! I can buy better discs - I've read all those posts too.
Thanks,
Jerol
Bad/old firmware and crap media causes most of the problems we see here. Even new drives (like the Pioneer 112D), have serious problems burning CDs with firmware older than v1.21. Updating your firmware and using decent media will help alot.

I love happy endings.

As was I. *sigh*

Should I be able to copy the DVD to my HD and view it whenever...?
Only if the DVD has no copy protection. If it does have copy protection (and most do), ImgBurn will fail - and we can't help you with this part.
-
Maybe someone will write a guide that you could look at, you might just be doing it wrong
It's possible. CDs go in the tray shiny side up, don't they?

Sensitive New-Age Guy.

I read your post and tried to burn CD iso, all went ok!
Crap. I dunno why mine has a problem. I suppose I could threaten it.
-
Try Google. We can't help you.

Bought a pioneer DVR-112D.
No more errors
Try burning a CD.

Anyone taking bets on how long it will be before the gun nuts jump into this thread and turn it into a complete and utter clusterfuck?

The USA isn't the sole repository for the criminally insane. Perhaps a history lesson.

Yep. Smart enough to figure out how to download an illegal torrent and too stupid to figure out what to do with it. Go away, boy. Come back when you've learned to buy instead of steal.

A logfile would be nice. Buying the game instead of downloading it would be better.

Will somebody please explain this thread to me? Anyone?
I notice the spammer has disappeared.
You didn't expect a spammer to stick around, did you?
Also, this thread is self explanatory. Obvious to the point of ridiculous. I just wish someone would explain it to me too.

That news is almost a year old...that was so last year.
What is old is new again.

Bikini-wearing fireman charged
A man wearing a woman's wig and a string bikini has been charged with taking a drunken afternoon romp through a park in Ohio, in the United States, officials said.
Steven Cole, a 46-year-old volunteer firefighter, told an officer he was on his way to a bar to perform as a woman in a contest offering a $US10,000 ($A12,240) prize, the arrest report said.
He pleaded not guilty to charges of drunken driving, public indecency and disorderly conduct.
Cole was arrested Tuesday after police received a report that an intoxicated man was walking and driving around Heritage Oak Park in Mason. Police said Cole was wearing a blond wig, pink thongs and a red-black-and-white striped bikini with the top filled out by tan water balloons.
His blood-alcohol test registered 0.174, more than twice Ohio's legal driving limit of 0.08, the arrest report said.
"He is obviously humiliated and embarrassed by the entire situation," said Cole's lawyer, Charlie Rittgers, who added that he is investigating the circumstances that led to the arrest.
Cole did not return a call seeking comment. He remained free on his own recognisance until trial, set for May 24.
Cole has been a Wayne Township firefighter since 2000. Township officials said he will be placed on administrative leave.
Steven Cole has been charged with public indecency and disorderly conduct.

ImgBurn verifies byte by byte. Whatever is on the duplicate will be verified both against the source for consistancy and the target itself for readability. Hope this helps.
