  1. And again... She has a great personality I understand...
  2. That's Kelly Brook...isn't she gorgeous?
  3. I've never had a lot of luck with RW media. I used to record cartoons and stuff off Sky for my son using RW and recording over once he'd watched them, but soon I would start getting recording and playback errors. Some of them I threw away straight out of the box cos they wouldn't record. The way RW works will always make for poor, ongoing recording in my view. Imgburn seems to be the only tool which does a proper format. Nero don't it seems to me, and what these DVD recorders do to a disc is anybodys guess. I've given up on RW and now use R or H/D.
  4. Thats cool...I'll keep a look out for that...
  5. Ah thanks for the link...no shops near me though...
  6. Happy Birthday, you just beat me to it (I'm 53)

  7. Wow games for ?30, never heard of Grainger Games though...
  8. Bought a Wii for my son a few weeks ago. They were hard to get hold of and it was great fun going into a shop and asking when they were going to have a Wii, have you had a Wii recently, is having a Wii a good idea and so on. My son loves it, they have some great games, but they are ?40 each with no pre-owned market yet.
  9. Ah yes of course Gail the Whale Course if we set to sea and lost our (wh)ores there would always be Gail.
  10. I've heard of that...I think they play it in Wales...
  11. How about the QE2? Go in style. Or a hydrofoil? Rowboat? Raft? Barrel? Armbands? Ginger lovers? Probably best not to ask...
  12. Ah but you know when to be serious and when to horse around. Before signing up I went through the back pages of the Support Forum (all 41 pages - not much of a night life in Bedford) to get a feel for the forum and not to ask things already asked. Besides your technical ability the thing that stood out was your devotion and commitment not just to Imgburn but to LUK and each other. I felt that if LUK said today we are going to sail across the Atlantic the Beta Team would start building a boat. Very impressive.
  13. Hi blutach thanks for the post. I've read a lot of your stuff on other forums and its good to be able to say hello and pay respects for all you do, Best wishes
  14. Everywhere you go on different forums the respect LUK has is awesome, but the thought of him 'loving' his hedgehog is an image too far. Please, please if you did keep it to yourself. Bet the bloke who started this thread is really happy...anybody remember what it was about?
  15. When I signed up I was determined to stay sane and sensible and not get infected by some of the lunacy that goes on here...and here I am 8 posts in posting about a dancing lizard in a tutu. And somehow it all makes perfect sense...
  16. You mean this?: Harold The Hedgehog While strolling through the meadow Upon one and fine and sunny day Harold the hedgehog Came across a bullfrog along the way Wearily Harold asked the bullfrog "What ever is going on my friend?? The bullfrog answered happily "You won't believe what I?ve just seen" Harold then replied "What ever do you mean?? The bullfrog then answered With a smile on his face "I've just seen a lizard In a tutu dancing up a storm While trying to do a crawl" Saying "Quick, quick get out of my way I think I?m going to fall"
  17. Thats what I thought, but I saw this feature has been recently added to another popular program (not for burning) and I thought it was a brilliant idea - speaking as a user not a programmer. @dontasciime@ Sorry I couldn't click through your link, but it looks like a small prog to do this...thanks
  18. Hi All, Could Imgburn be made to reset DMA? Sorry if this has be posted and answered before...
  19. @Kenadjian@ Very true and I had to smile when I read that - the thought of you swooping loads of bad media posts for...and whats wrong with my discs?.. posts. How about - to burn successfully you need good quality discs, please look at our test forum. Not all discs are the same. Regards and thanks for the prog.
  20. Thanks for the considered replies and I can only agree with you. It seems like an argument with two sides. For me what you said Shamus: would be the bottom line and it was that thought which prompted my post. Not just to try and get people on the right path from the start, but to try and deflect some on the totally unwanted flack which comes your way. On many posts I have seen the Beta team close ranks to protect the author from unpleasantness. Well done, but why should you have to? At least with a warning you could say, RTFI. Don't know about the AnyDvd warning - a bad disc warning seems more fundamental or even a check list - use good media, update firmware, don't use illegally ect. Again thanks for the chance to express a view... Regards
  21. I know what your saying - you see it all over other forums as well - use good media, burn with Imgburn, update your firmware over and over. It must get very discouraging. But, having said that I think such a notice - (warning/informing against bad media, perhaps linking to your test forum) would be a start in breaking down the ideas people have about media. Your product is the best and deserves the best. You produce a world class product, in my view, with quality support representing years of work and then the most important part of it - the media - is left to uninformed (mostly) people doing their best. Then you see a whole cycle starting of bad burns, posting on forums, explaining the media used is no good, then buying the good stuff and problem solved. Then the next person comes along and so on. Explaining about bad media seems to be part of the job you have taken on - why not do it right from the start? Anyway, its only my say - thanks for the chance to say it... Regards
  22. Hi All, Just spent the last few days reading through past pages in the support forum and you are always having to point out to people to use good media. So how about a warning or a caution pop up, or something in the log when discs are id, or when Imgburn opens - whatever - to use good stuff... Had a look, but couldn't see this anywhere, apologies if its been posted before... Regards
