Your discs are crap...period. Get some Verbatims, made in Singapore, or some Taiyo Yudens and try again.

Not really, just look at the disc and make sure it has the little brushes somewhere on it. I use a Maxell, have had it for probably 8 years and it still works well. It is if you're looking for a cleaning disc.....

The program is doing what it is supposed to do. You're using Verbs, which is the best for what you want to do and Ner0 doesn't burn them to work either. The problem is not one that we solve here at the ImgBurn forum as it deals with the compatibility of your gaming machine to read what you downloaded and didn't buy. I would suggest that you Google your problem and come back if ImgBurn fails you for some reason. spinner

Ritek media is crap, get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore) and try again. Same as above. Your drive is 3 years old now and I would go to the manufacturerswebsite to look for a more recent firmware or replace the drive since they are really inexpensive now.

Lighting King, I was under the impression that this is what these support forums were for - to ask questions of those more knowledgeable or experienced with either the software or technology. If your reply is simply to refer me to Google, I would highly recommend you reserve from answering any posts on this website. AH ...Now that is some of the funniest shit I've read here in a while. You can't get 1X out of a disc that says 4X is the slowest it will work. The drive cannot be forced to work at a speed not acceptable to the disc manufacturer.

Sony discs are crap, Ritek is crap, CMC is crap. Be pissed all you want, but do it at the manufacturers that keep their crap on the market, not at the people trying to help you.

If your drive doesn't support it, give it up. If you bought that MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-841S take it back since they are all crap. Your choice of media RITEK-F16-01 is bad as well. Look around the board at the drices and media section, figure out what you want for a drive and get it. Get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs and be done with it.

Post your entire log, read the stuff at the top of the topic. I/o errors are generated by your drive and it simply means that your firmware/media/drive are not playing well together. You may be using Verbs, but they can be made in India (crap), your firmware needs to be updated, your drive is on its' way to the bone yard....but we don't know because you didn't follow the easy stuff above. And we hate guessing games.
