  1. If you have access to another BluRay burner, try doing the full erase on the other drive(s). They might just be able to do what yours can't/refuses to.
  2. The error is coming directly from your burner: it couldn't burn the media you're using. Try with Verbatim BD-R DL blanks if you can find them, or at least try with other brands (LG is crap and from what we've heard so is TDK) until you find one that works OK with your burner.
  3. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. If it still doesn't work, check the disc for dirt/scratches/etc. You might also want to try reading that disc with other drives.
  4. Google is your friend, don't be afraid to use it I'll cut you some slack: after getting them to the computer, you'll probably need to convert the videos before burning to DVD and be able to play on any DVD player. For doing this you can use DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs
  5. Have you updated it after taking that screenshot? Because the latest is D400
  6. Try burning at 4x or 6x to see if you get a better quality burn. If that doesn't help, try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks as they result in high quality burns on most burners.
  7. It should work with blanks from all major brands really. We recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden because their blanks give best quality burns on most burners.
  8. Your drive doesn't support those discs. You could try updating the drive's firmware (not that easy) or you could get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and they'd work
  9. We've seen a similar problem before and it seems the solution is to install this and this
  10. You could force it to flash the firmware but, if it's under warranty, doing that would void it.
  11. If it's doing that with Verbatim DVD-R I'd return/exchange the burner as it could defective.
  12. When it gets stuck, is the disc still spinning? The drive light blinking? What's the brand/model or chipset of your motherboard? You can find out with SIW (Hardware -> Motherboard you can select all the lines and use Edit/Copy then paste here).
  13. Try updating your burner's firmware. What's the brand of the media you're using?
  14. ImgBurn's site doesn't say it'll decrypt/remove/bypass anything. You were scammed by someone else who sent you ImgBurn, so try getting a refund with clickbank/whoever processed your payment. And, if it isn't a problem with ImgBurn or burning in general, we can't help
  15. X360/PS3/Wii game discs are protected and ImgBurn can't copy protected discs. You also received a message from ImgBurn telling you so when you used Read mode on that X360 game.
  16. The problem seems to be a communication error between your burner and the IDE controller/driver. Uninstall the IDE driver and go back to using the standard built-in Windows driver.
  17. If the discs are new and the drive can't read them then it's most likely copy protection, and ImgBurn can't copy protected discs
  18. There's only one way to find out
  19. This is what's being reported by the drive. I'm not sure 3x is a valid speed for DVD-R media. Maybe the drive is misreporting the 2x speed?
  20. Try installing this driver to see if it solves your problem. Try with Test Mode enabled first
  21. Seems like a driver problem. What's the brand/model of your motherboard?
  22. Right-click on the drive's name and choose Check For Firmware Updates... or (in most of ImgBurn's modes) Tools -> Drive -> Check For Firmware Updates... or http://www.firmwarehq.com/ -> Samsung -> SH-S203D. After updating the firmware and rebooting, you can use any of the Supported Write Speeds shown in the Information box (right-side of ImgBurn's window). 6x or 8x usually result in better burns with Verbatim 8x blanks on these 20x Samsung burners.
  23. The Tools -> Drive menu (the same as when you right-click a drive's name) changes according to the capabilities of the currently selected drive (yes there are people with more than 1 drive on their systems ), and that's why you need to choose a program mode before you can access the drive's functions. No need to "fake" anything though
