  1. The burner is good and the booktype is correct. The problem is with your console, so please talk to whoever modded it for you because we can't help if it isn't a burning problem.
  2. It burned+verified fine so the problem is your console, which might need some kind of update but we can't help with that Search around with Google and you'll quickly discover what needs to be done By the way... There's newer firmware for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  3. Yup, buy an internal DVD burner and replace your drive
  4. Looks like you've kept it for long enough. If it can't burn then it's time for a new burner, don't you think?
  5. Since the disc is fine, this applies: I'm sorry but we can't help you if you don't have a burning problem
  6. Use the verify mode to check that disc against the source image, so that we know if it's a good burn or not. If it passes verify then the problem is with your console. For the reference, with ImgBurn in Write mode the current disc's booktype is shown under Physical Information (Last Recorded): By the way... There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  7. The message says ISO9660 doesn't support single files larger than 4,294,967,295 bytes. If your VIDEO_TS folder has a VOB file larger than that then it was incorrectly made (it should be several 1GB VOB files). Look in DVD Shrink's settings for an option to split in 1GB chunks and you can use it to correct your VIDEO_TS folder
  8. Try with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks, and if it doesn't work with the best dual-layer media on the market then it would be your burner. If it doesn't work straight away then try a lens cleaning disc on your drive before ruling it as defective
  9. That's the problem with cheap media: their current quality is anyone's guess.
  10. Have you tried the other available write speeds? If you have and they don't work then you need to read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  11. Using Windows Explorer/My Computer, right-click on your drive and go to the AutoPlay tab: in there you can set your AutoPlay preferences.
  12. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). Try burning the other available write speeds. You might also want to try a lens cleaning disc on your drive. You should also read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  13. The burn on DVD+R DL media was good so the problem is with your console, and we can't help you with that
  14. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating). Try burning at 8x or 12x for better results. If all that doesn't solve your problem then get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks, because the ones you're using are garbage :&
  15. You'll have to try with Verbatim 2.4x blanks to find out
  16. Does it have to be an external drive? (e.g. you have a laptop so it needs to be external)
  17. You're using low quality media. Please read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  18. Your burner doesn't support those discs (notice that it doesn't show any available write speeds). Get Verbatim 2.4x blanks and it should work
  19. Also update ImgBurn, and leave Verify enabled as that tells you if it's a good burn or not.
  20. Update ImgBurn. Try a lens cleaning disc on your drive. Try burning at 4x or 6x. What's the brand of the media you're using?
  21. What's the output of Windows Movie Maker? You might need to convert it to DVD-Video (the format that all DVD players understand) before burning to disc. To do this you can use DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs. As for DVD+RW, you only need to format it once: after that, you can simply overwrite it
  22. You can't. ImgBurn's Read mode only reads discs as a whole. For doing what you want you should be using Windows Explorer or similar
  23. Yeah, with rewritable media the burner doesn't always catch bad sectors at the time of burning.
