  1. Right-click on it and choose Run as administrator to see if it works.
  2. There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). The dye on the media you're using is known for being low quality. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks (you can find them in the online shops linked in this post) and you'll have better burns.
  3. The most likely cause is low quality blanks. Of course we could suggest more things if you've posted the log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  4. You do know that you need to write CUE/BIN as disc images, right?
  5. ImgBurn is just a burning tool: it doesn't convert anything. If you burn the CUE/BIN image to a CD-R/CD-RW it should work on your DVD player. Alternatively you can use PowerDVD/WinDVD/MPC-HC/VLC Media Player/etc to play the KVCDs on your computer. If you want to burn it to a DVD playable on any DVD player, you'll have to use DVD Flick/ConvertXtoDVD/similar programs, but that would be a real waste since KVCDs are really low quality to start with.
  6. If the drive can't read the disc it has just burned then it's a bad burn, don't you agree?
  7. There's no magic to make it work. Try a lens cleaning disc on your drive and it might help.

  10. Cleaning the drive's lens and trying all the available write speeds is about as much as you can try, because you're already using the best dual-layer media. If it still doesn't work after all that then you should be looking for a new burner. Luckily they're very cheap these days If it happens again the FAQ tells you how to solve this problem too
  11. Please post a log from a failed burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  12. You're using the 8x (MKM-003-00 dye) Verbatim blanks, which aren't well supported by most burners, especially slim ones. Try with the 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) Verbatim blanks. You might want to try burning at 4x to see how it turns out. You may also want to try a lens cleaning disc on that drive.
  13. You're using junk media, and that's why it fails to read. Please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  14. Please post the log from that burn (you can find it in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
  15. With ImgBurn in Write mode, please post the text shown in the Information box on the right-side of the window.
  16. Follow what this post says (removing controllers/etc). Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. You might also want to try burning at 4x or 6x.
  17. Have you been messing with ImgBurn's Build settings without knowing what they do? Go to the Options tab, click Reset Settings, confirm and try creating the image again.
  18. Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner, it should help with the problem.
  19. It burned and verified fine, which means the disc is good. The problem seems to be your console, which may be needing an update? By the way... There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). Oh, and next time, please avoid hijacking other users' threads and start your own
  20. Probably because you're a new member and haven't posted enough times in order to use that feature
  21. That happens because you're using junk media that your burner doesn't like. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work
  22. You have coasters if they don't pass verify/don't work on your console. You can't tell just by looking at it
  23. Years ago that would be true, but today's burners are fine tuned for speed, and, as such, a faster speed can result in a better quality burn, which is what matters to the console's drive.
  24. Try the other available speeds. You might also want to try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. Another option would be crossflashing that burner to its real model (SH-S183L), but before doing this check for updated drivers for your motherboard chipset/SATA controller(s).
