  2. Most likely the download will be discarded and it'll try again the connection comes back online. Also, since they seem to know their stuff, the downloaded firmware is checked against a checksum to verify that it was a good download. That being said, I'd still try with DVD media: the player may just don't care about the media used and be interested only in the PANA_DVD.FRM file
  3. Your drive doesn't support burning that low quality disc. Please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Alternatively you can mount that image with Virtual CloneDrive and play from there
  4. Did you try unpacking ImgBurn.exe (not ImgBurnPreview.exe) in C:\Program Files\ImgBurn (or the folder where you installed ImgBurn)? I'm asking because SetupImgBurn_2.4.4.0.exe (the installer) isn't packed with UPX.
  5. ISO images can only contain Mode1/2048 data: it's a limitation of this format. For everything else BIN/CUE must be used, and that's why ImgBurn is using it. Even if you force it to save with ISO extension, the contents will still be in BIN format.
  6. Does the main window appear? If it does, what does it say in the status bar? Does the Log window appear? What does it say? If we pinpoint where the freeze is happening we can find out what's causing it
  7. Update your burner's firmware to LPA3 (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. You could try burning at 6x or 8x to see if it works, but the media you're using is junk, so please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  8. Which two options? Could you point in the guide where they would be?
  9. The problem is in your console and we can't help with that. Search with Google and you'll easily find the answer

    Wii Backup

Wii game discs are protected and ImgBurn can't copy protected discs.
  11. That should work, if you're using the good dual-layer media that is. How about getting a Pioneer 116/117 (or 216/217) in an external enclosure of your choice?
  12. Also please read the dual-layer guides
  13. Have a look on Google, lots of work by the looks of it
  14. If it freezes playing at the middle then you know why By the way, you should leave Verify enabled, as that ensures the disc was correctly burned
  15. Also look for the latest firmware for your burner (right-click the drive in ImgBurn and you'll see the option ).
  16. Install this INF Update Utility, reboot if it asks you to, then install this Matrix Storage Manager and reboot. Also revert ImgBurn's settings to their default values (hint: the Defaults button in the Settings dialog )
  17. Yup, but be sure to get the 2.4x ones (look at the link I've posted above) for better burns
  18. Update ImgBurn and then please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  19. The bristles can scratch the lens if you let them (bristles) collect dirt. Usually the lens cleaner disc comes with a re-usable box/packging for safe storage.
  20. If cleaning doesn't solve your problem then you should get a new burner

  22. Where are those Verbatims made? Singapore? India? It's printed on the box/spindle/packaging.
  23. Windows lies, and that's why you need to remove the controller in order to force it to restore DMA mode. If you still have the source VIDEO_TS folder/files use Output set to Device instead of burning from an image file and you might get better results. If you don't have the source files anymore you can mount that image to a virtual drive and add the VIDEO_TS from the virtual drive to ImgBurn's Build mode (again with Output set to Device).
  24. Your drive doesn't like that disc. You could try burning at 2x to see if you can get it to burn. Also please do what this post says (removing controllers/etc) as you're getting too slow speeds. By the way, if you don't mind telling us, what's the contents of the image? I'm asking because if it's DVD-Video then you should have way better results with DVD+R DL media.
