  1. From what we can see it's a good burn (burned and verified fine), so maybe the problem is in the source image or your console. There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  2. Have you installed the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager? By the way, this only installs if the controller is in AHCI or RAID mode Also make sure you're using the latest BIOS version for your motherboard.
  3. I think the option you want is Control Panel -> Default Programs -> Associate a file type or protocol with a program
  4. Your source is slightly oversized for single-layer media, but you can easily shrink it with DVD Shrink or similar programs.
  5. All that the DivX Video settings do is verify if you have at least ISO9660 + Joliet filesystems and suggest to use them if appropriate. It won't change the end results of your burning.
  6. Also look in the Options tab of the Build mode and untick 'Preserve Full Pathnames'.
  7. ImgBurn's Build mode is designed to burn an existing file/folder structure, so create that structure the way you want in a folder on your HD, then add that folder to ImgBurn's Build mode and, when asked if that's the root folder, answer Yes. Please have a look at our Guides section on more information about the Build mode.
  8. ImgBurn doesn't support multisession in its Build mode, regardless of the media type.
  9. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive.
  10. Can you try that burner on another computer? It seems the drive doesn't like the USB enclosure/adapter you're using, or that adapter doesn't play nice with your computer. Another option would be to mount the burner on your computer (if it isn't a laptop ).
  11. First, please update ImgBurn. Some other program may be interfering with the burner and that could be causing the lock volume function to take a long time. This post from the FAQ might help you find what's holding the burner
  12. Are you using the latest ImgBurn?
  13. You should leave Verify enabled since that ensures the disc was correctly burned, and it only adds a few minutes
  14. They're only useful for storing data
  15. Exactly. I posted the link so that you would know that you're already using the best dual-layer media
  16. Well, then it's the original ISO image split in an unconventional way. You'll have to join the files with copy /b 001+002+003+etc win7.iso or maybe Create DVD MDS File (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu) and add the numbered files in the correct order
  17. Using WinRAR, find and select the .001 file then go to Tools -> Show Information. What does it say there? If it says RAR volume then use WinRAR to extract the ISO image from the archive.

  19. I think it's just a coincidence that this happened just after upgrading the hardware. The power calibration error comes directly from the burner, and if there was some hardware incompatibility you would most likely get another kind of I/O error or a system freeze.
  20. Probably because the disc is closed/finalised. If you want to know more please ask in a forum dedicated to Ner0. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LightScribe Yes. Have a look in our Guides section
  21. Windows itself doesn't have any problem with UPX compressed programs, so it has to be something else. Also notice that some antivirus/antispyware programs don't disable completely, i.e. you have to uninstall them and reboot.
  22. Make sure you're using the latest firmware to ensure best possible burns
  23. Have you tried the other available write speeds? Cleaning the lens should do the trick though, or a new burner
  24. Try with a real browser (portable version if you prefer).
