  1. That's the slowest speed your burner/firmware/media combination allows, besides, burning 8x rated media at 2.4x doesn't usually result in good burn quality.
  2. Both brands should work fine on both burners.
  3. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4632 for single layer disc http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4643 for double layer disc
  4. That's open to interpretation and varies wildly depending on your country's laws. Anyway, there are plenty of tools for doing what you want and ImgBurn, nor its author LUK, aren't looking for legal disputes
  5. Also use the latest ImgBurn because the one you have is older than Windows 7 itself.
  6. Try burning at 4x or 6x. Also look for the latest chipset/storage drivers for your system (this website might help). You could also try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks (laptop burners are rubbish so good media is a must).
  7. Try burning at 8x or 12x. You could also look for the latest drivers for your chipset/storage controllers (this website might help).
  8. Try the other write speeds and enable Verify or you'll never know if it was a good burn or not.
  9. The log of the burn would be useful.
  10. Depends on what your burner was doing, e.g. if ImgBurn said "Writing Lead-In..." in the status bar then the disc is probably a coaster.
  11. This isn't Twitter you know, no need to shorten/obscure URLs
  12. If they're copyrighted and/or protected then they aren't meant to be copied, don't you agree?

  14. Posting an article that tells you to use an old computer and install Ner0, now that'll sort him out real quick

(Google Translator again)
  17. You could at least link to the start of the thread: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14686
  18. Sounds like the drivers are messed up. Have you looked for the latest chipset/storage drivers? This website might help.
  19. Uw brander lijkt niet die schijf te ondersteunen. Probeer met DVD-R of DVD + R media en het zou moeten werken. (Google Translator was here)
  20. ImgBurn burns stuff as is, i.e. it doesn't change anything, so if you want a slideshow/movie/etc disc then you'll need to use another program to author such disc and then you can use ImgBurn to burn the disc.
  21. Seems like your system is having memory problems, so test it with memtest86+. Also, since it looks like it's a laptop, make sure all ventilation holes aren't blocked.

  23. As it says in the thread I linked above, slim burners are rubbish and the only chance of good burns on them is by using high quality media.
