  1. ImgBurn isn't a full fledged backup tool and, as such, it doesn't try to overcome file read errors. And why is this posted in the Bugs section if it's more of a suggestion than anything else?
  2. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  3. Try burning at 8x or 12x, or at least limit to 16x if you need the speed. Also look for the latest drivers for your system's chipset/storage controllers (this website might help).
  4. Try this firmware update for your burner. Also read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  5. Try the other write speeds. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it. You could also try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs, or using another burner.
  6. ISO images should be burned using the Write mode, not Build mode. As for making it work, try burning at 4x. If it doesn't work, you could try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc but I'm not sure if this will help much, as the media you're using is known to me low quality (google the bold text above and you'll see what I mean).
  7. Make sure that DVD Flick is set to output to DVD5 media size. Alternatively you could try with ConvertXtoDVD.
  8. Post the log from when you've burned with ImgBurn.
  9. Try the other write speeds. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it. You could also try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs, or using another burner.
  10. The burn relies on the burner/firmware/media combination, and guess what? Burners wear out and media isn't exactly the same even in the same batch. Is it that unacceptable that the cheap blanks you have are defective?
  11. Notice the link in my post above.
  12. That disc was damaged in a previous failed burn.
  13. "Sort files by source list order" changes the order the files are laid out on the disc, not in the filesystem, where they're always in alphabetical order as per the filesystem standard. Renaming them with numbering in front (e.g. 001-filename, 002-filename, etc) usually does the trick.
  14. Post the log of that burn.
  15. Try the other write speeds. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. Try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  16. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S223C/files.html Why does everyone think their problem is special, unlike any other?

  18. All the text that's in there (if in doubt right-click on it and choose Select All).
  19. Yes, just buy the right kind and brand of media -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  20. Split it into two discs with dvd shrink, dvdfab, or any other of the million and one programs that can do it. Or you can stop being a cheapskate and buy one Verbatim DVD+R DL blank disc for burning the movie
  21. Reset ImgBurn to its default settings and then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Also consider installing SP3 while you're at it.
  22. Try the other available write speeds. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it.
