the media is still crap though, don't take our word for it, check it out here http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
take a look in 2nd class media , take note of what it says about degradation issues.
did you verify the disc with ner0?

ritek media isn't what it used to be, they started going downhill when they started making G05's
that combined with a matSHITa drive ....
try with taiyo yuden or verbatim discs

imgburn will never touch copy protection, if you want to copy unprotected vobs then use explorer.
using decrypter for burning is like running windows 3.11 - it will never get any better than it is . imgburn is constantly being improved

If I'm not mistaken, the nforce drivers are for your graphics card and shouldn't affect anything.
nforce drivers are for the chipset blu

you would need to re-author the 2 films to get them to work on 1 d/l disc
i believe there is a version of shrink that opens imgburn as the burning programme, try google

update your firmware from here http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-3540/files.html
install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard and check your dma
try burning at 8x

follow the advice in the dma thread, delete the controllers and reboot, until you do that you can't rely on windows telling you that you have dma enabled
