    ISO

try mounting the iso in daemon tools and use mpc or use vlc to see the files
  2. please read this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 although the 'memorex' discs may look the same, the dye may well be different from the ones that worked either way it is advised to read the post linked
  3. hmm... yeah , because they work all the time, we aren't sponsored by verbatim. we buy our own discs and we know from burning countless discs in discovery mode (ie burning to ALL sectors of the disc) during beta testing, that the only reliable dual layer discs are verbatim MKM-001 MIS .(check the media tests if you don't believe me http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=15 ) you obviously know better so good luck with that
  4. good luck with your hit and miss discs
  5. have you set your bios boot order to boot from cd/dvd first? please post a log of the burn, there may be something to help us there. theres a link in my signature in orange of how to find your log if you don't know where to find it just copy and paste it in your reply
  6. if you go to control panel and go to folder options, choose view tab and see if 'hide extensions for known file types' is ticked, try unticking it and then renaming
  7. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 take a look at this post
  8. are these discs made in india or singapore?
  9. right click your .img file and rename to .iso but theres really no need to do this as imgburn will burn either
  10. or use elby then you just install a virtual drive http://www.elby.ch/products/clone_dvd/manual/drive.html free download here http://files.elby.ch/download/SetupVirtualCloneDrive5.exe
  11. verbatim and taiyo yuden are about the best on the market, if you want to use rewritables, try verbatim
  12. what are the supported write speeds shown in the right hand of the gui? are these MKM-003?
  13. i dont remember that a layer break window is shown when choosing an iso, as one should have been chosen when building the iso originally, so if you want more choices, the best way would be to rebuild it. you can rebuild the iso from the virtual drive to your hdd
  14. have you tried mounting the iso in daemon tools and rebuilding it using build mode, that way you should get a layer break selection window. pre built isos usually have an mds file which contains the layer break info for the burn.

  16. whats wrong with it as it is now? why do people keep asking when the new release is coming? its constantly being worked on by luk and the betas and when LUK decides he is finished with the next stage of development he will release it so sit back and enjoy what it can do for you now, as far as i know there are no plans for a release in the near future
  17. i wouldn't trust those discs in the long term verbatims all the way
  18. bitsetting/booktype makes a +R disc -ROM , i think you are misunderstanding this bit. you burn a +R disc , if you have set the booktype to -ROM then players will see it as a dvd-rom the media will not show as rom until after you have made the burn
  19. you need a conversion programme to do that, something like dvd flick or convertxtodvd
  20. use verbatim discs - see post #2
  21. it looks like it has already set the book type as -ROM by your pictures. Physical Format Information (Last Recorded): Disc ID: RITEK-D01-01 Book Type: DVD-ROM make sure you verify your burns to see if what is written is readable See this video for how to Change Booktype
  22. have you tried the nec tab? looks like your drive has an nec chipset http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters/sony-dru-v200a/2528 you really should use verbatim MKM-001 media for dual layer as the probability for the memorex discs to fail is high, see http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  23. it is available, check out the guides section http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4 and specifically http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555
  24. if you ask in english you may get a reply as this is an english forum
  25. there should be a raid enabled/disabled choice in the sata controller setup, maybe in advanced chipset on yours?
