  1. use read mode , then change to write mode and burn the iso
  2. you could check the scans in the media section, these discs have been burnt at 8x with acceptable results

  10. pioneer 115d is fine for dual layer , its pretty easy to swap out a drive, heres a guide http://www.fonerbooks.com/r_cd.htm if you can tell us your location, usa/europe? we could find links to drives

  12. it will always show as fat32, its not a problem its just giving you the information you can still store files on drive H: they will just get split into files less than 4gb
  13. have you inserted a dual layer disc when this happens?
  14. go to tools/settings/read/default destination and choose custom and choose a folder on C: , thats one way to do it (make a folder on C:, call it dvd or whatever you want)
  15. first try and find a newer firmware , if that doesn't help try taiyo yuden or verbatim discs
  16. are your hdd and burner on the same cable? check your dma too , link in my sig.
  17. go into regedit, find Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ImgBurn right click imgburn and choose export, save the file as for example ibsettings.reg and transfer the file to your other pc
  18. not if there's copy protection no. never will . if they are not protected then just use read mode/write mode
  19. imgburn doesn't have a driver, it uses interfaces from microsoft amongst others so there is nothing to fix, the problem lies with your own systems drivers a lot of the beta team have sata drives installed and they all work fine, you just have to find the chipset drivers that work with your drive
