Tiger Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Hi Can some one please help me? I am continuously being asked for user name and password...sometimes even within 5 minutes.
lfcrule1972 Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Do you have an IP blocker/proxy running ? If so that may be causing the problems....
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Hi Can some one please help me? I am continuously being asked for user name and password...sometimes even within 5 minutes. Do you have cookies enabled in your browser? If you're a privacy nut and don't like cookies being set (like me), install another browser and use it exclusively for forums (I use Mozilla just for this forum and IE, Opera and Firefox for everything else).
Tiger Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 No I do not have any Proxy /IP blocker running, and I use FF which is Cookie enabled. I can't even use the Fast Reply feature. This problem only occurs in this forum...no where else. I have my AV, teatimer and SG running but none of these causes any IP blicking.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 close your browser, clear it's cache/history thingy and then load it up again. Log into the forum then select the 'delete cookies set by this board' option. Close / reopen your browser again and login once more. Hopefully that'll have refreshed whatever was causing the problem.
Tiger Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Sorry L_UK, I am not getting any such option like: 'delete cookies set by this board' (
Jill Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 clear it's cache/history thingy Hopefully that'll have refreshed whatever was causing the problem. LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 everybody understands the term 'thingy', it's a globally recognisable word
polopony Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 a whatyamaycallit why didn't you say so all this technical jargon is so confusing
kirk1701™ Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 everybody understands the term 'thingy', it's a globally recognisable word How amazingly ironic. I tell my class "those "thingies" in Group policies or some other console all the time. They know what I mean Or at least that gets them to do the labs

kevdriver Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Bill, use Imgburn in write mode and hit the big green arrow thingy on the bottom.......... First you need to build a burnable image by using Imgburn in build mode.
lfcrule1972 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 How do you burn a movie? If it's a rubbish movie, petrol and a match work well
dontasciime Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Or stick it in the oven and 20 minutes later, plastic fantastic. Or if you got a Mac Toast It.
polopony Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 BTW a disc in the microwave is a pretty cool light show
