    TSSTcorp CDDVD SH-S202J SB03 won't read disc

The "Quick OK" button is described in the Guides - The ImgBurn Functions - Section [*]4.4 Create CUE File... Also the "Preserve Full Pathnames" is described there.

    TSSTcorp CDDVD SH-S202J SB03 won't read disc

@ dbminter. No. He sure has the "Preserve Full Pathnames" unchecked and uses the "Quick OK" button to get to the burn point in the "Create cue file..." window. @ dr_ml422 If you are using "Quick OK" button you need to tick (enable) "Preserve Full Pathnames" box, than you can move the cue wherever you want if you want to save it for further uses. Otherwise you need to use "OK" button that will bring up a "Save as..." window to select a location and that will automatically enable Preserve Full Pathnames in the cue file even if it is unticked (disabled) in the "Create cue file..." window.

    Delay between sectors in playback

As you describe in the last post this seams to be cumbersome. As I see it in your description you complicate things that don't need to be complicated. First, I don't know what MvP editor is but that don't matter. Why are you converting AVI to mpeg2 than cut to scenes (segments, as you say) than author the project than if it don't fit, shrink it to fit DVD 5? This could be done in one go from AVI to DVD Video with pretty much any decent authoring program and that includes intro movie, menus, titles sets, chapters... and all should fit in one DVD 5. I'm pretty sure DVDStyler can do this. You can also try DVD Flick. In one DVD 5 at standard quality it should fit 2 hours (120 minutes) no problem. That's including motion menus and intro movie. Set the audio to Dolby rather to PCM if that is an option in the authoring program. That will let more room for video quality. You just need to set the target to DVD 5 in the output project and the program should do it's thing and squeeze the project to fit DVD 5.

Layer Break error when burning with ImgBurn

    This is covered here
  7. What button do you clicked and what file you get? Under the description table there is a message: "The download link to the right is enabled with our secure download manager to ensure a successful, faster download. You can download this file without our download manager here." The file you'd get should be: File: Setup_ImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe CRC-32: 1af3cd36 MD4: 968d02234ea91f221913b03d81e3983e MD5: 4bf2b8f4b46385bfda4d65e423cfb868 SHA-1: 6a3d20796e1fcd4169d5d339af6e491dcea3367c

    Burning Disc stuck at 50%

You may also try the latest version of ImgBurn as yours is way too old.
  13. Where did you get this info? I may be living under a rock but can't find any info to support the abandon thing...
  14. Of course you can add the Thumbs.db to the disc. Let the Windows create the file first. The file will be created in any folder that contain media like pictures or movie files. It may be invisible in the folder as it is a hidden system file. You need to make the system files visible to see it. Google it if you don't know how. Start ImgBurn and enable the boxes "Include hidden files" and "Include system files" on Options tab.
  15. There is a guide for this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/11194-how-to-create-a-windows-vista-7-8-installation-disc-bootable-using-imgburn/

    Error: unsupported video type

I'm not familiar with OpenDVD and don't know what it is. VIDEO_TS folder should be enough to build the DVD assuming it is populated with the correct files (.IFO, .BUP, .VOB)

    Dreamcast burn

It's the last item in the Download section > Padus .CDI File Mounter v1.0.0.12
  19. Since you just want a backup of that drive meaning just the files on it, you don't need to mess with Advance > Bootable Disc settings. Just make a simple data disc and put all the files to disc.

Burning file or folder to DVD

AUDIO_TS is a part of DVD standard. It has no use for DVD-Video. In rare occasions older standalone players will not play a disc that nas no AUDIO_TS folder in the structure. So it is better to have it there for playability compliance. AUDIO_TS was designed to accomodate the DVD-Audio files to deliver the high-fidelity audio content in DVD format. DVD-Audio is capable of delivering significant benefits over standard CD Digital Audio, not just in sound quality, but also in the delivery of additional bonus material and video clips. Obviously DVD-Video uses VIDEO_TS folder to store its files. AUDIO_TS would store the files for DVD-Audio. As the DVD-Audio format didn't caught to the large public there are not that many DVD-Audio discs released. At present, the DVD-Audio catalog includes several thousand titles ranging from Bach to Beethoven, Eric Clapton to Seal, Beatles to Queen... covering all sort of music genres, from classical concerts to rock, pop, jazz, etc. Not all standalone DVD players are capable of playing them as the manufacturers didn't bother to read the format due to the scarce public adoption. DVD-Audio has been described as "extinct" by 2007 as per Wikipedia

ImgBurn download checksums don't match. Huh?

  22. If you got it from ImgBurn mirror and the hash matches to what is posted in Download section you can safely ignore it.
  23. That's nonsense. Don't bother with that. Why do you want such thing? A bootable disc is to install operating system or to do other manipulation to the hard drive not to install Office or any other program that should be installed on a running system. Maybe describe in detail what you want to achiev so we can gude you.

    Some Links Are Loading Viruses

I tested them all and there is no problem with the download links. The file is the same by checksum just the file name is varying.

    Some Links Are Loading Viruses

All of the mirrors replaced your original installer with a modified version since the size and checksum is different (the same on all mirrors) from the original hosted on Mirror 7 Seems they removed OC... as BetaNews states: CLEAN INSTALL! No OC bundled
