Sorry but playback issues (especially with games) are not really our concern. If the disc burnt and verified ok, ImgBurn did its job (well, the drive did). You should have a read around at some xbox sites/forums, new developments are happening all the time.

As mentioned in my previous post, if you could narrow it down and find a file that makes it go from working -> not working, I can examine the issue with it and fix it. Without that fix it could happen again and that just makes more work for you doing it manually.

If you add all those same songs, leave all the CD-TEXT stuff on 'None' and click OK, does the Save box come up? If you just add a single song and click OK, does the save box come up? If you can work out which song is causing the problem, I can take a look at it and fix it. It's not an issue I've ever seen before. Clicking 'Quick OK' should close the window once it has finished saving the CUE file with an automatically generated file name (the same file name that would normally be filled out when you click the OK button and are shown the Save box). Just confirm you're using 2.5.6.0 too please.

It's not the files causing the problem, it's whatever the 'Save' dialog box is trying to use as a default file name. (I *think* anyway!) That screenshot shows you using the 'File Name' for CD-TEXT rather than the 'Tag'. Did you set anything for CD-TEXT at Disc level? You could avoid the 'Save' box by clicking the 'Quick OK' button. I'd be interested to see if that works, and if it does, what name is given to the CUE file.

Which button had you actually pressed when that error box came up? The 'Browse for a file... (Ins)' one or the 'OK' one?

I'm pretty sure XP only supports up to 2.01. After that you install one of the UDF filter drivers to enable support for 2.50 and 2.60. It's about time you treated yourself to an SATA drive. Then you could get it off the Marvell controller (which isn't working) and put it on the Intel one.

Don't worry, it probably wasn't your fault at all The 'remember' setting wasn't always there - so it ALWAYS remembered whatever you set it to during each session. Then I added the setting and it didn't remember what you changed it to unless you'd ticked the option.

It's a discontinued drive now so I doubt you'll see anything from LG for it.

Ok well that's not a rewritable disc so it's bound to fail!

If the drive is doing the same thing on different discs (different dye/mid, not just brand name), yes it's at fault.

Post ALL the info from the log window please, not just a bit of it. If your drive doesn't want to erase the disc then there isn't much you can do about it (assuming the firmware is up to date etc).
