  1. There's no conversion at all. Putting stuff into an ISO is just like putting things in a big box. The contents are the same.
  2. When in Build mode, click the 'Advanced' tab and then the 'Media' one. Set the single layer profile to 'Custom' and then enter something larger for 'Maximum Sectors' - something like 4173824 would do the trick (the size of a DVD+R DL disc). Just don't forget to set it back to DVD-R or DVD+R before you build an image you actually want to burn to disc.
  3. Put this code in a bach file, copy it to your X:\Movies folder and then try running it. Adjust the /DEST bit according to where the output folder is - I set it to "X:\Movies" @for /d %%i in (*.*) do "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\ImgBurn\ImgBurn.exe" /MODE BUILD /BUILDINPUTMODE STANDARD /BUILDOUTPUTMODE IMAGEFILE /SRC "%%i\" /DEST "X:\Output\%%i.iso" /FILESYSTEM "ISO9660 + UDF" /UDFREVISION "1.02" /VOLUMELABEL "%%i" /PRESERVEFULLPATHNAMES NO /ROOTFOLDER YES /NOIMAGEDETAILS /START /CLOSESUCCESS
  4. I think you'll find you're wrong. It's not like I check the installer every day to see what the plugin is doing, but last time I checked, there was most definitely a way to opt out of installing the offers. On top of that, only 1 of the 7 mirrors even has the plugin within the installer.
  5. What I’m trying to see is exactly when this problem occurs. If you create the cue and the info within the file itself doesn’t match with what you think should be in it, that’s very different from things getting jumbled up during the burn or after it’s been burnt. So unfortunately, I need lots of info from all stages of the process. Screenshots of the cue creation part, the created cue itself, a log from the burn + verification process and then a final screenshot of the media info window when you’re in Read mode.
  6. Can you attach the CUE file please? Sorry for not replying after your previous post, I read it on my phone but the screenshots weren't clear enough and I couldn't really see what I was looking at. After that, I just plain forgot about it.
  7. ImgBurn doesn't *make* the OS do anything when you insert a disc or double click the drive. Double clicking just makes it perform the default action. The default action can be seen by right clicking - it's the one in bold. ImgBurn adds itself as an option for various autoplay related things, but you're meant to decide (within OS's autplay config) which one it actually performs. Which OS are you running?
  8. 1. The original img that ramdisk made. 2. Once you’ve burnt that img to a disc with pburn, use ImgBurn to read that new disc back to an iso file and then upload that too please.
  9. Check the burnt disc by going into Read mode and clicking the media info button. Does the cdtext look ok? If so, it’s probably down to the playback device.
  10. It says 'Test Mode: Yes'
  11. What if you turn test mode off and use a new disc? Test mode doesn't normally work on + (plus) format media.
  12. The first error you got was a 'Write Error', that's the important one. Your drive ran into an issue burning the disc. Try another one. Also, there's a firmware update available for your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH12LS38/files.html
  13. Thanks for the suggestion. The setting probably predates BD support being added, so it wasn’t required at the time.
  14. Layer break stuff doesn’t apply to BD media. You can’t adjust its location and are supposed to treat them like large, single layer discs.
  15. Correct. I guess not, no. As you can't burn more to L1 than L0, you'll perhaps never know (just by looking at it) how much of L1 has been written.
  16. Taking the label to be the top, Layer 0 is at the bottom and layer 1 is in the middle.
  17. What if you made a small ramdisk img file, burnt it with pburn and then read that disc to a new iso file using ImgBurn? You could upload both files and maybe I could see what it has actually done.
  18. I have no idea what format a RAMdisk img file is in. I'd assume it's more like a hdd with a partition table and FAT32 / NTFS type formatting. ImgBurn will expect a typical optical disc image file, not anything else.
  19. If you’ve download an iso (disc image file), you’d want to use the ‘write image file to disc’ option to burn it. The program reads a chunk from the iso and writes it directly to disc. If you’ve got (for example) a few folders full of files that you want to burn to disc, you’d use the ‘write files/folders to disc’ option. Think of an iso as a box or something. You can opt to ‘create image file from files/folders’ so it’s easier to deal with when you’re ready to burn it to disc.
  20. I’m amazed that worked if the disc is unreadable.
  21. Joliet only applies when you're talking about burning files/folders to a disc (data disc). So you want to load the program and go into Build mode. (or use the 'write files / folders to disc' button) Next, change the 'file systems' option to ISO9660+Joliet or ISO9660+Joliet+UDF. Add your files/folders to the 'Source' box on the left and then hit the big 'Write' button.
  22. Try some different discs. If they don't work either, try a different drive.
  23. The default settings work best. Media wise, you want Verbatim 8x MKM-003-00, as per here: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  24. Your drive is just reporting a 'Write Error', so it seems unable to burn the disc. Try slowing the write speed down a bit if 'MAX' (12x) isn't working. If that doesn't work and different discs don't work, you may have to buy yourself another drive.
