Ooops, done it now. Thank you!

If they're protected, no.
-
If they're fake MCC discs, they would be the first thing to rule out. Get yourself some Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R (TYG02 dye) discs and give them a go.
-
Probably not. All you'd normally do is sort by extension and just not select that bunch when you drag+drop.
-
Buy Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs (MKM-001-00 dye, Made in Singapore), the others are rubbish by comparison.

A) IMGBurn misreads drive B) can't close disc
LIGHTNING UK! replied to bluesbabe's topic in ImgBurn Support
It probably means it couldn't close the tray (between Write and Verify - and this is to be expected on a laptop drive), not that it couldn't close the disc. The options to close the track/session/disc are advanced features. Some people have a use for them, you don't need to have -
ImgBurn only erases disc index in full mode
LIGHTNING UK! replied to ButterFLY's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Not in ImgBurn there isn't. If you pick 'Full Erase' then it sends the command for that task - period. -
That kinda info is beyond the scope of this forum - especially when you don't tell us what the format of the file is in the first place. Find the name/type of file you have and google that name along with 'convert dvd'. There are loads of places with that kind of info already in place.

Well when you mentioned shrink I thought they might not be. You could easily write a batch script to call up ImgBurn and process the 200 folders but there's no getting around the layer break.... oh hang on, yes there is! Change the single layer profile (Advanced -> Media) to something bigger than a standard DVD+R DL disc and then it won't think it needs to split anything.

ImgBurn only erases disc index in full mode
LIGHTNING UK! replied to ButterFLY's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Don't think the software plays a big part in erasing a DVD-RW, it REALLY doesn't! It's one command and the drive goes off and does its thing. Clearly Nero, CDRWIN and ImgBurn aren't all getting that 1 basic command wrong (and remember that it works fine for everyone except you - and I proved that twice yesterday with the same drive you have) so really it can only come down to your setup/drive. -
Only 3 things really come into play here... Drive Firmware Media You need to change one of them in the hope that the 3 then play happily together.

Are they all double layer?

Take who?

ImgBurn only erases disc index in full mode
LIGHTNING UK! replied to ButterFLY's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Just one other thing... some drives won't do a proper erase unless the disc actually has something on it. i.e. they think they're clever enough to not need a full erase if it's already empty and so will just do another quick one. So don't try full erasing a disc that's already empty. -
Correct, I wasn't having a go and I apologise if you interpreted it that way.

Forget F8 (I/O debug mode) for a minute, load the program in Write mode and press F6. Now load your CUE file. Now hold down 'CTRL' and click the 'View Image Information...' button. Click 'OK' to come out of that screen. Save the log to a file and upload it to the forum for me please - or email it (The address is in the 'About' box). If you're going to email it, you should probably include that first '01-Nexion 218.mp3' file too so I can test with it. I promise I'll delete it when I'm done.
-
Nope, there's no way to do this. All you could do is mark those files as 'hidden' or something and make ImgBurn NOT include hidden files - then unhide them again.
-
It's not using DS, it's using ACM for some reason. You are using 2.4.2.0 yeah? Can I please see the full log? A copy of the CUE would help too.
-
Because 'best' is in the eye of the beholder. Only the user can actually see where a scene change happens and ImgBurn is all about giving the user options. If you want 1 click 'I'm a stupid user' software, you should probably be using something else. Personally I'd pick the one pointing at the VTS_06_0.IFO. That puts the entire VTS set on the 2nd layer - which is just a logical/common sense type choice. It's not really any better than the other options that list file names. I'm fairly sure the options / headings are all covered in the guide within the Guides forum.

Generally you'd just hit the red X in the mediaplayer window wouldn't you?

transfering data from hard to cd for clonning
LIGHTNING UK! replied to cntryboy's topic in ImgBurn Support
Well that disc has ~58 megabytes of data on it. I can tell you right now that its not a clone of your hdd! -
ImgBurn only erases disc index in full mode
LIGHTNING UK! replied to ButterFLY's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
I blame your drive then, sorry. The full erase command IS being issued (as I'm sure it is in all the others), your drive just isn't dealing with it properly. I dug out my 716 - it was only on the v1.09 firmware though and I didn't realise until I'd done my tests... Verbatim 6x DVD-RW -
transfering data from hard to cd for clonning

Unless you've got the worlds smallest hdd, there's no way it fitted on a CD. Are you sure you backed it up properly in the first place? -

ImgBurn only erases disc index in full mode
LIGHTNING UK! replied to ButterFLY's topic in ImgBurn Bugs
Why is this in 'bugs' if all programs do it?! How long does it take to erase it? What makes you think it's only taking the 'index' away?
