what happens with v2.1 if you already have the USB writer connected when you open ImgBurn ? your last log says W 00:30:08 Device Arrival Detected! which im assuming was after ImgBurn was opened . confirm for me please that your using completely new discs and not ones that was in the drive earlier when it failed , or failed burn discs do you have another USB cable you could try on the pioneer drive , to rule out a faulty cable

if you've left everything at its default settings, then no, you haven't missed anything out. ImgBurn only burns whats in the original input file, so good sound and good audio = good sound and good audio on the disc you create. Its most likely to do with either the blank media you've been using, or possibly your standalone player doesn't like that type/brand/format of media can you post a log file from ImgBurn for us to see. click on VIEW and put a check against LOG , this opens another window if you cant already see it , then when you've done a burn copy and paste it into here. also if you can copy and paste what is in the right hand window in ImgBurn as well, that helps. you can google your standalone players make and model to confirm what formats it will play ( may be handy for later)

Getting TOC information, means the drive is trying to read the "Table of contents" on the disc. it would seem that your drive is struggling to read these discs your using , which probably/possibly means theres a fault with the drive itself. although you say it worked with v2.1.0.0 Are you tyring to use discs that have failed to burn before ?, these would have an incomplete TOC on them ?? causing the drive to struggle to read the TOC Have you cleaned the lense in the drive ? Is your other writer drive ok ?, will that burn discs still ?
-
yes, as long as you only use 1 instance of ImgBurn and use the queue feature... to burn to 2 drives at the same time using 2 instances of imgBurn will probably cause a massive I/O error resulting in 2 screwed discs
-
bottom line, Its your media, its about as low in quality as a dashounds nuts to the floor anything with CMC dye in is crap im afraid. For Dual layer you MUST use Verbatims , NOTHING ELSE is any good , see my signature below In your case the writer struggled to write to the 2nd layer on the disc ( Layer 1) ( the first layer is called Layer 0 ) Layer 1 is sectors 1913760 - 3697695 ( in red further up) and your drive struggled at sector 1914080 , which is just near the start of burning the 2nd layer Your firmware is up to date , so thats good, but you need to bin those discs and buy verbatims even if you do get to burn to them, they probably wont be readable by any drive afterwards anyway

Need a Brit blimey Chewy , for one minute i thought "you" wanted to marry a brit to get a visa permit svp.co.uk , the same as most others over here . You cant fault them . they carry a good range of media and stock the verb DL's and taiyo yuden . cant post in there for you as i cant remember my login details LOL

Women take them out the machine and try and find places on them, thinking the disc is a map , hence it gets scratched

i think the differance is the 800 odd who got banned for suggesting the beta team run naked thru the streets

buy GENUINE Taiyo Yuden brand , not fuji or pansonic with taiyo yuden dye in the -R your looking for TYG02 or TYG03 as the media ID , TYG02 is the 8x and TYG03 the 16x as per my signature below

BWA HA HA HA , who me ? , nah , not possible ...i was'nt even there you cant prove a thing ossifer , must of been something else . In fact , we even bought that one thinking about it EDIT - heres the evidence as well LOL
-
I asked about where it came from, so i could check it myself , and make sure i got the same version you had to test. Youve put your hands up regarding the verify , well done for saying so , we all make small errors , but it saves a few people trying to replicate the fault now. as for more errors with V2.2 , i think its more a case of finding a few lower quality discs in the stack rather than it being the new version. Trust me, theres been a heck of a lot of testing and burns done by a dozen people+ before LUK released this one ,and no one has else commented on similar findings
-
nah , we did that at the Beta team AGM last year
-
