  1. DiscT@2 is a part of Labelflash technology — burning on bottom side (data side) of disc area which is not used by data is possible with any DVD±R media.
  2. No. Maybe DVD Shrink will help you to get rid of the subtitles and not need for compressing in other format.
  3. There is a blue bar at the top of the main page under the big ImgBurn logo starting with News / Download / Change log... Clicking on Download switch to a list of mirror sites...
  4. It will burn at the closest available to speed selected (4x in your case) even if you select 12x. You can't fool the program, it will match the speed to those available.
  5. Maybe this will help you http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4503
  6. You can make the program to include all kind of files (hidden, archive, system) on the Options tab on the right. I just say that is not the proper way to transfer the OS to a new computer.
  7. You better use a proper system imaging program. ImgBurn is not designed to do this. Google is your friend.
  8. Basicaly yes, the drive don't like the disc. A log would be more helpful than a screenshot. See the pink box at the top. From what I can see in the pic, the firmware on your drive is outdated. Try the latest, maybe it solves the problem for you. http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1859-file_GGW-H20L_YL07(EW).zip.html
  9. Try other speeds available rather than default MAX (8x). If none of the speeds available work, try with some quality discs from Verbatim. Cleaning the laser lens my help also. Your version of the program is outdated, btw. Updating to current version will not solve this problem but anyway you should do it.
  10. By your description you are making an iso of some video files then burn the iso to disc. That is the same as you burn the files directly to disc, it won't help. ImgBurn is a burning tool and will not transcode your file in a standard DVD Video. First you need to do the conversion with other program like DVD Flick or DVD Styler then burn the result with ImgBurn. Here is the guide to burn a proper structure of DVD Video to disc http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4632
  11. First, deactivate caps lock as it is considered shouting and this is a decent helpfull forum. Second, you should have posted in Support section, this is not a bug. Now, on your problem. Probably you enabled Test Mode. Please read the pink box from the Support section and post a log.
  12. Your version of the program is outdated, you should update to current version. Also you should update Windows 7 to SP1.
  13. Seems the drive don't like the discs you are using. If none of the available speeds work, try with some Verbatim media or at least other brands that use other MID/dye rather than CMC MAG-E01-00 that is known to be low quality (very low). Btw, your version of the program is outdated.

    My ImgBurn story

    Nice first post. Welcome.
  15. In the Drives section on this forum there are some tests made by LIGHTNING UK! and Cynthia with some drives on different media or go to myce forum, they are specialized in testing the drives and can make recomandations
  16. This is an authoring problem. Make sure that return to first title after play title is NOT enabled in the authoring program.
  17. Create an empty folder CERTIFICATE and put it in the root of the disc with the BDMV folder Please read the pink box above and post a log.
  18. Maybe a screenshot will help more, can you make one?
  19. 1. The drive doesn't like (know) the media and can't focus to start the burn. Lack of media support in firmware. 2. ImgBurn don't support multisession burn but will attempt to close track/session/disc on a disc that need this. Some players can't read discs that are not finalized/closed. ImgBurn always finalize the burned disc. Read the pink box above and post a log.
  20. Please stop the debate or move it to PM. LUK, can you please delete tihis topic, it's useless here.
  21. You skiped the update firmware line that mmalves pointed. Try the new firmware update http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS422%2B8/files.html
  22. Direct disc copy is risky. If you value your time and money don't go that route. Search the forum to see how many times this was requested. Don't get me bad but it's for lazy people. I remember a quote say something like: Lazy more runs, cheap more prejudice. (aproximative translation) Welcome to the forum.
  23. muntealb, I didn't compared the translation he added with yours but he did not changed the name of the original author (yours) he just update it without taking the credit out. Nevertheless I understand your upset that he should wait some time before and ask if the translation will be updated by the original author only than offer his. Anyway, I'm sure that your translation will be on the site in honor that you are the first translator. Thank you for the updated translation.
  24. That RW disc worked in the past in that drive? Did you have succes burning and reburning on it? Maybe it's worn out, scrathed or have fingerprint on the surface. If it's brand new, your drive may not have support for it. Try other brands with different MID/dye. Sure, a log would be nice.
