  1. Not much help. We need a burn + verify session. You do verify your burns, yes? What media you use? Try some Verbatim. What speed you burn the discs? Try others available. Search for an updated firmware for the drive on laptop manufacturer support site if there is one available (you have currently installed mP01). Also you should update Windows 7 to SP1.
  2. That sounds like bad burn or junk media (device struggling to read). For that we need the log for further advise. You can find old logs folowing this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  3. Where is the log showing the burn and verify? Can you post it?
  4. Does the converted files with DVD Flick play nice in a software player on your computer? Read the pink box above and post a log as advised.
  5. If the overburn don't go try the other option. You should already know that, though.
  6. If you do your homework (Google) you'll know what option to choose.
  7. Give us more clues. You want them as is or to be played in stand alone player? What format are those files: mpg, avi, ts, Video DVD folder? Look for DVD Flick, DVD Styler, ConvertXtoDVD to make a combined final valid Video DVD structure and burn the result with ImgBurn.
  8. There's newer firmware for your drive EL01 here http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH20NS10/files.html Why you'd want to burn at 24x if the drive can burn only 4x, 8x on that media? Update ImgBurn to current version 2.5.6.0.
  9. Note there is not a single reply for backing. I think no answer = no interest.
  10. Just let the program do the adjustments needed and offered to you to accept for DVD Video. For images/files bigger than a single layer disc you should use double layers or use DVDShrink to make it fit on a single layer. If you don't understand a part of the guide, tell us where you're stuck and we'll try to clear things up.
  11. How about visiting the Guides section for a read how you gonna do what you want with this little program called ImgBurn? Than if you have problems burning related, come back with a nice description of your problem and be sure you attach a log as required in the pink box above.
  12. The screen point exactly to the problem. Verify to have on both side the exact items in the the line you translate. ComboBox_TargetMedia.Items=00000075, should list this: CD (650 MB / 74 Min) CD (700 MB / 80 Min) CD (790 MB / 90 Min) CD (870 MB / 99 Min) DVD-5 DVD±R DVD-R DVD-9 DVD±R DL DVD+R DL BD-R/RE BD-R/RE DL BD-R/RE TL BD-R/RE QL
  13. The updates don't come so offen to be a problem. You can disable the update prompt on Events tab in Settings if you want. Anyway, you are advised to do the update since we can't offer support for outdated versions and there are a plenty of fixes and new features in every new release.
  14. Does the content form BDMV folder on your hard drive play nice in a software player? Whatever speed you want, the drive can only write on that media at 2x. Since you didn't let the program to verify the burned disc we don't know if it was a good burn. Burn another disc and let it verify.
  15. muntealb, multumesc ca ai actualizat traducerea, probabil ai fost retinut cu altele de ai intarziat atat... ============================================================================= muntealb, thanks for updating the translation, probably you got engaged with other things that make you late so...
  16. Open Control Panel > Control Panel Home > Default Programs > Set Associations. Select the file type in the list and click Change Program. If that don't resolve the problem than it's something deeper in Windows mess. To me, when I double click on .wmv file it launches Pinnacle Studio 15 install.
  17. Your burner is too old for the new media, I think. You better get a modern drive, they are so cheap this days.
  18. Switch Pinnacle destination to disc rather than file. Tick Create but don't burn option. Burn the resulted directory to disc.
  19. It does the same if you burn at 4x or 6x? Update Vista to SP2. Put back I/O interface to default SPTI. Cleaning the lens may help.
  20. There is a later firmware for your drive. You want 4.25 http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-6500A/files.html That error is typical for bad/junk media. Try some better quality media from Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden or at least other than Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3 Try cleaning the lens, it may help.
  21. Try a lower speed istead of default MAX. Update chipset/storage drivers on your motherboard.
  22. That drive is probably too old to know the newer media. See the only 4x write speed shown on 8x rated media. Install the latest firmware on that drive and try again. You want A106 http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4163B/files.html You can also update chipset/storage drivers of your motherboard if you aren't done it yet. This site may help. http://www.ma-config.com/
  23. I'm using MAXELL DVD-R's that have RITEKF1 MID and have no problem at all with them. Two burners are dead now, one was LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1L the other was ASUS 0001 DRW-2014L1 the discs have no problems reading back. Now I'm stuck with TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203D from a disasambled computer and still burn RITEKF1 without problems. When this will go out I'll get an Optiarc.
  24. Yeah, the time is shown in hours and minutes, guess it could be even few seconds apart... Anyway the problem was sorted and that's the important part
