  1. The discs that it will not read, well some the other comps will read, and some will not

If you not verify the discs you burn you can't be sure that was a decent burn even if it reached at the end burning succesfuly.

Some discs burn fine but can't be read back even by the drive that burned them not to mention other readers.

That's why verify is so important and nobody who cares about their burns shouldn't disable it.

As you say some read, some don't, probably the drive is not totaly toasted, yet. You can try to clean the laser with a cleaning disc or manual.

If it gives you some I/O errors it could be chipset/storage drivers related. Try update them.

Otherwise probably it don't like the discs or the burn quality is poor.

  2. Using IsoBuster you can look at the disc and sort by LBA to see the order on the disc but as I said it will not help you.

Your player also could probably play them by tag order if it finds and able to sort them.

I don't think any player will follow the physical order from the disc, it will play them by tag if exists than by file name.

Again, your only option is to use numbers in front of the names.

  3. I 19:17:04 Destination Device: [0:1:0] TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S202N SB02 (F:) (ATA)

I 19:17:04 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f, Ritek Co.) (no speeds available)

    I 19:17:04 Write Speed: MAX

    I 19:17:04 Write Speed Successfully Set! - Effective: 8,468 KB/s (48x)

Your drive don't like the discs you are using.

Notice there are no write supported speeds available reported by its firmware but is trying to use MAX (48x).

Try set a lower speed, it may get to the end or try some different media.

  4. I 20:37:05 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 8x)

    I 20:37:05 Write Speed: 2.4x

Try the other speeds available, it's 8x rated media you are using after all. Why slow it down? Forget about the low speed fairytale!

Make sure you have the latest chipset/storage controler drivers installed.

  5. This is the real problem, the first error

W 19:42:47 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure

There is a pinned thread about this problem http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860

Make sure you use the latest firmware (1.00-09) on your drive http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH10LS30/files.html

Yo can see more firmware version information by going to the Device Capabilities window and when checking for firmware updates.

Rightclick on the drive and select one of the last options from the context menu.

  6. The burn and verify looks good, ImgBurn has done its job perfectly.

The problem may be in BD stucture. I don't now how its working a BD, yet.

Does the disc play nice reading from BD burner played with a software player like Power DVD or Total Media Theatre? If yes the disc is OK.

If not, try this: Build the image on your hard drive, mount it in a virtual drive and play it in Power DVD or Total Media Theatre.

Does it play nice from the image? If it play nice the structure is OK and the problem is your player.

Note that when I say play I mean the disc as a BD structure not the m2ts from the folder.

I've seen recommended multiAVCHD for authoring.

  7. I 17:44:02 Destination Device: [1:1:0] _NEC DVD+-RW ND-3450A 102B (E:) (ATA)

I 17:44:02 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: RITEKF1) (no speeds)

    I 17:44:02 Write Speed: 2.4x

    W 17:44:02 Write Speed Miscompare! - MODE SENSE: 8,467 KB/s (6.3x), GET PERFORMANCE: 1,385 KB/s (1x)

    W 17:44:02 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 3,324 KB/s (2.4x), Got: 8,467 KB/s (6.3x) / 1,385 KB/s (1x)

Your drive don't like the discs. See, there is no supported write speeds offered.

Try again with this firmware update installed http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-3450A/files.html

Try different media instead of RITEKF1

  8. Laptop/slimline burners are not recommended for burning DL. If you search the forum you'll find countless posts with problems burning DL with laptop burners.

Your only option is to buy a new drive, normal size and put it in an external enclosure. You can look at Optiarc 72xx series for a good DL burner.

Or move the file to a computer through LAN and try burn it with that drive.

  9. Can you acces the drive in Explorer. Is it show up in Device Manager?

Did you try to shutdown and restart the computer to see if it appears?

It is connected to motherboard directly or via an adapter?

    Update chipset/controler drivers.

    Update ImgBurn too.
