@linx05 Some annoy me too, mate! I think their IDs start with Defenestr (and calwey) Regards

Ach, it is too simple. Either: 1. In the file menu, select write ISO image to disc and then double click the ISO to burn with ImgBurn; or 2. In the mode menu, tick either "Output to ISO Image file" or "ImgBurn directly to disc" (preferred and easiest method). Regards

Always a good idea to change the booktype on +R DVDs. Regards

Just post count building LFC. Sad Regards

Welcome to ImgBurn Forum - The Ultimate Burning Forum Yes, you can just write files instead of images. Use build mode and set your device to your LG. See the guides section for help. You should be able to burn more than 1 avi, but of course, it doesn't obey the DVD-VIDEO rules. So, it might be prudent to have your avis on a separate layer (although I see no real reason why the player wouldn't just go to the next sector (on layer 1) when playing - it's the actual setting of the LB that could be problematic). Regards

Are you on a repeating loop Sianeka? Regards

LMAO db. No, we're gunna wait for the boss! EDIT: 10 could be NOP Regards

I guess it depends on what you want your boot image to behave like. Regards

That, we agree on. Regards

It seems you can't take no for an answer. Before v2, ImgBurn indeed was about "burning images". No, I am not a IP lawyer, but it is not I who is sprouting legal advice ("I can't see what the legal problems of implementing them would be") in this thread. Only dickwits like you. Put in a trust the several million $$$ that LUK! would need to defend an action against the MPAA, the RIAA and their associated members, and perhaps you would be given more credence. Till then, you should read the many times LUK has said NO. I shall choose to ignore your rather pathetic attempt to get a rise out of me by criticing Australians. For, wherever you come from, your mom and pop didn't hand you sufficient brains when you were, rather unfortunately, conceived. Regards

I do believe that the "manual intervention" you refer to is entirely justified to ensure this program does not suffer legal issues. Are you an IP lawyer? You can't see the legal issues - fair enough. When someone who is a senior IP lawyer says all is OK and someone else with long arms and deep pockets is prepared to fund any lawsuits, then and only then should you be advocating any risk be taken. It ain't your arse on the line mate. If people wanna copy disks, that is their business, not ours. Ours is about burning files and images. Full stop. Regards

Clean your drive. Drive cleaning kits are cheap and can eliminate a source of frustration. Regards

I don't suppose you considered Windows Explorer's rather convenient drag and drop feature? Regards

This seamless playback at the layerbreak is experimental. You do see it occasionally on commercial DVDs, esp superbit. If your player(s) support it, it is good to use as it makes the layer break totally seamless. Regards
-
And, in today's age, you don't need to burn those photos you don't like. Just throw them away!!! Regards

DL DVD plays on computer, but not on dvd player - any ideas?
blutach replied to THEO's topic in ImgBurn Support
I would have huge reservations about using -R DL disks. Put simply, don't do it. Furthermore, a booktyped +R is the closest thing to a DVD-VIDEO around in terms of reflectivity and compatibilty. Regards -
Does Imgburn test a DVD's maximum write speed before writing the disc?
blutach replied to Wile_E's topic in ImgBurn General
More than likely your firmware has been updated to take account of a faster write strategy. Regards -
Or what you might have known in the past as the "layer break" flag (it is generally set to non-seamless at the LB). Regards
-
Assuming the commercial DVD is mastered correctly to begin with, did you do any editing to it? How you got the files to your hard drive is none of our business and in fact we don't want to discuss ripping in this forum. Regards

This fella really is into shortcuts. Check his username! Regards

Welcome to ImgBurn Forum! 1. If you can position the LB at the start of an IFO, VOB or BUP it is highly prefereable to having it in the middle of a VOB. It doesn't really matter which, although you might like to keep the VTS on a single layer, so positioning it on the IFO might be the go. But it's totally irrelevant really. 2. Also matters not at all as ImgBurn will ensure the padding is correct. L0 must contain more data than L1 and the break must be at an ECC boundary. ImgBurn takes care of this. Regards

The adware is totally optional. Just say no on installation. I used v4.03He Regards

Yes and yes. Artifacts are not a function of whethere a cell is seamless or not - it is a function of the MPEG2 encoding. Regards

Please post the full log. Usually, it means the writer ran out of data. Check your DMA and firmware - see links in my signature. Regards
