Have you tried resetting your settings back to defaults? Regards
-
How very strange. It appears to have chopped off the last 5 from your burn list. After your build, I suppose the ISO in ISOBuster shows 31 files. If you have 36 random files in a directory, do they all get backed up? Is it just this directory that is being messed up? Regards

So, go get tier 1 quality Verbatims and your problems will vanish. CMCs make great frisbees. I'm sure their factory could be converted in no time. However, you should never waste your money on them if your intention is to use them as blank media. Regards

I'm all for XP. It's got a nice look and feel - better than 98/2000 etc I agree. But how much do I gotta pay for something that ain't broke? I have never had a BSOD with XP. My view: Same shit. Different package. Higher price. But each to his own, of course Regards

Perhaps this will help you (we have a search function) http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=25811 Regards

Shame that. Regards -
There is no technical reason re DTS, except the spec says you must have AN AC3 track somewhere on a DVD (at least in NTSC land) - usually a menu or a small extra will suffice. That rule is relaxed in PAL land. I suspect it is more the influence of Dolby Labs over the DVD Forum than anything else. Nonetheless, I like to be in spec. Regards
-
I agree, but it seems to be out of spec. I also burnb DLs seamless. It's a very good feature. Regards

Most drives already save the type once set. Regards

This is something I have been meaning to suggest. We pass the name exactly as it is and oftentimes rpc1 can't find it. I was going to propose that we pass part of the name to RPC1 - whenever I look something up, I just type in the numbers. There must be a way of implementing wildcard lookup that can cater for this. Regards

The Matrix 1 has loads of angles and seamless branching. Jim Taylor's test DVD (it has everything imaginable on it). But neither has angles all the way through a title, I don't think. Regards

Laser is buggered and can only read at CD focus. It's a goner, for sure. Regards

There are advanced technicques for making a DVD-R ito DVD-ROM. These typically involve multi-session writing. http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/150 Regards

Hijack away fordman - everyone else here does AND it's your bloomin' thread! @LUK - I'd list only angle 1. I am not at all sure of the spec on this. It is feasible that the LB could be before angle 2 couldn't it? Angle switching would not be at all seamless however and that would be a nasty drawback. So, I'd list only the first angle. Easier too. Regards

I say again, splashkiller will do the job for you no worries. It's a tiny freeware app (40kb or something), runs in the systray and is configurable for those apps you don't want to kill the splashscreen (e.g ImgBurn ) Regards
-
The LB is placed just before the selected cell that is marked as non-seamless. Not sure why PgcEdit complains. Perhaps r0lZ can help over at doom9 or Digital digest. Perhaps you have done some editing that has thrown things out? But I doubt it. As for the times in ImgBurn, they are obviously times 2. In fact, ImgBurn's time are supposed to show how much is elapsed at the LB, not how much is elapsed after the LB cell is played (so it will differ from PgcEdit by 1 cell normally). However, for angles, things look a bit awry - it appears that we need to divide by the number of angles for angle 1 and this will make angle 2 correct (it would be advanced by 3:20 being the playing time of angle 1). Good find Regards

Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Read the guides in our guides section, which explain exactly how to use Build mode. Regards

Playing/watching it is largely irrelevant. A bad sector or two might flash past without you knowing it. Or a sector that verifies incorrectly may simply have a byte or 2 wrong (how would you tell on the screen?). The true way to verify is to do a bit for bit verification. Once the md5 hash comes up identical, you know you're OK. As for Memorex, they are usually junk. Regards
