There's lots of guides. But easiest is to drag your folder to the drop zone and press the green, Go button. Regards -
"Test Mode" reporting fake coasters of my DVDs w/ SATA error

Thanks for the correction corny. I figure if it works, don't fix it. Regards -
That's pretty cynthia and really suits donta!!!! Happy birthday mate! Have a great day. Regards

Along with that we have had incredible bushfires - this is the worst natural disaster Australia has ever seen (and some of those fires were deliberately lit - see here). More than 170 dead so far, with projections up to 250. 750 homes lost and 3,500 people without a place to stay. Whole towns wiped off the map - not a shred of evidence that they were there. More than 300,000 hectares burning (and still going). It's just horrible. And, for a comparison, read this. Regards

Maybe Bill will make a donation. Yeah, right. Wake up Les, yer dreaming. Regards

Change your media - we ONLY recommend Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. If your drive can not return control to Windows, you usually need to shut the PC off. Regards

Almost all of my single layer Verbs are Taiwanese and are fantastic discs. Regards -
Doesn't work! And never will. You need to either: 1. Burn each VIDEO_TS folder to a separate disk - this is the way DVD Video works. 2. Combine the projects. Use DVD Shrink or Ner0 Recode in re-author mode and burn the resulting project. See here for a guide. Regards

Then it's easy! Take the shit Ritek media to work - where they should have a decent data backup strategy in place anyway - and bring your valuable TY's home! Regards -
Crikey sheri. Where are you that you would pay $156 anything for a DVD drive?????!!!!! Regards
-
See if changing to decent media will do the trick - eg Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. What you are using now is pure crap. Regards

Don't worry about it. Sometimes (particualrly older) drives can't read info for -R discs all that well. See mmalves's answer above. No. But frisbees (watch out for heads slicing off ), (real life) coasters (if you can decorate), presents for not so good friends etc. might allieviate some of the "pain". And, I trust the "ones at work" do not belong to "work". That would be (petty) theft if you took them and quite possibly might put your job at risk (I know the stationery cupboard is considered fair game but it isn't!). Regards -

If I'm not mistaken, the nforce drivers are for your graphics card and shouldn't affect anything. You may have nvidia motherboard drivers, too (I do and all works well, but not for some people). Install the WNASPI as mmalves said. But more than anything else, switch to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim media. Regards -
That is what the filter manager does in ImgBurn. Tools --> Filter Driver Load Order Just use the remove function for unwanted filters. No need to play around with regedit Regards
-
There's nothing precious about -R DLs. They are just a hassle. And there's certainly nothing precious about Ritek DL media (or SL media anymore, sadly). ONLY use Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore for your DL needs. Regards

'kin hell. It hit 46.4 today - a new record! For you yanks, that is more than 115 degrees. One place not far away recorded 48 degrees (+118F) On top of that, we had a howling hot north wind gusting at 70 kph (45 mph). Geez. Regards

Probably a day early here, but thought I'd get in quick. Have a great birthday mate and many more to come. Regards

I was referring to altercuno! Oh and xxxxx Regards

Hey cynthia - what's that funny prog you are using to show the structure? Looks like a real POS to me!!!! Regards
-
This is the 3rd thread you have posted in dare2winitall with exactly the same issue. Can we just stay in this thread and cure your problem there please? It is VERY frustrating having you post the same thing 3 times in 3 separate places. Regards
-
You'd need to use re-author mode and ignore the size (i.e. not shrink it to fit a DVD-5). Even then, you need to be careful that ImgBurn can find a correct position for the layer break. This usually means having more data on the first layer ("disc 1", so to speak). Regards
-
Get real please. Would you prefer "Create from a disc, the image file"? Or "Create from files or folders, the image file"? How stupid does that sound? If you want to post a bug, make sure it is a real one, where the program doesn't work as expected and not some silly anal retentive crap. Regards
