  1. Most of the UK betas get their stuff from SVP Communications, who have very generously supplied us with discs for testing. http://svp.co.uk/ Regards
  2. Select the language in Tools --> Settings --> General Regards
  3. If your drive can't read, you need to examine your cabling and possibly DMA. The drive may even be on the way out. Regards
  4. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Sadly, it's not that different from what we've seen before. Update your firmware (to version 1.41); yours is a long time out of date - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2140 Buy decent media, not el cheapo junk like this. We recommend ONLY high quality Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim media. Regards
  5. Read pink bit at top Plus a search will reveal at least 20 recent threads on xbox360 games. Regards
  6. That is one terrific (first) post quietbritishjim. So often, what you find in a support forum are simply questions as to why things went wrong (which we are here to answer, of course), or uneducated minds blaming the program for the ails of their (burning) life, as well as dredging up old suggestions over and over again that the author has said he doesn't want to implement and requests for new features to make ImgBurn look work like Ner0 () Of course, there's plenty of nice words like yours, too, and for those, we are all very grateful. Regards
  7. Unless it's not a cell/ECC boundary perhaps (the latter is obviously OK)? Regards
  8. Ask your customer - he probably couldn't care less if VTS 18 is on layer 0 or 1 and is swapped with VTS 19 for example. Another option is to move VTS 18 closer in on layer 0 (make it VTS 1 for example - this should create lots of breaks in what are now VTS 17 and below by the looks of the sizes of the VTSs). Again - and even recognising that at the elementary stream level, everything in a mux is interleaved - if it were me, I'd not put a layer break anywhere near ILVU material. You just don't want the player going back and forwards across the break lots of times, just to play a single cell. This is especially so given your customer is unlikely to make the break seamless. Anyway, from your picture, there should be the possibility of breaking at VTS_18_0.IFO, which is at 2,032,135, placing all of VTS 18 on L1. This is, by far, the best outcome. Regards
  9. Since when did this board turn into a place for political diatribe? Help. Regards
  10. Do it at the start of any VTS, if possible. If you can't find a good LB point, apart from splitting cells, you can remap the titlesets. Do this with PgcEdit. It's almost a one step process - just decide which VTSs should be in layer 0 and move them around. Regards
  11. No - invest another 30 cents in a new blank. Regards
  12. Could be anything - your drive, cables, DMA or just a bung disc. Maybe try different firmware - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2313 Regards
  13. PTP will tend to do that to you - it probably has L1 > L0. Have a look at the "End of the World" guide. Regards
  14. If in PTP mode, you'll need to extract the files and rebuild. Regards
  15. No, this is not a bad LB - it is a bad write. The drive can't read the disk. This is symptomatic of poor media. Do get the Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. Regards
  16. You don't need to re-rip. Mount or extract the files from the ISO and use build mode. Regards
  17. Look at Help --> ImgBurn Logs Regards
  18. With systems getting faster, how big a data buffer would you have? It seems 2Mb is good enough for the vast majority of burning. Regards
  19. Yes, there would, but if it happens at a fade out in video and audio, it might not be that noticeable. Clearly, you'll need to remaster the DVD. Regards
  20. No, but the theory is the same. Regards
  21. Yes. Do try with different media though. That RICOH stuff is not the best. Regards

2 things: 1. Get Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore media and throw your current media away. 2. Update your firmware - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2005 As well, your burner is getting very long in the tooth. Keep an eye on it. Regards
  23. What settings did you have in the Options tab of build mode (only recurse subdirectories should be ticked - same as for DVD Video)? As well, maybe your player doesn't like the media? We recommend high quality Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Regards
  24. Again, do a scan and see how the discs look. Regards
  25. Then some running process has a handle on it. Use Process Explorer to find out which. Regards
