Do as we recommend and get some Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. They actually work. Regards

I'm sure she'll find someone else with her well-defined features. Regards

What if it's "get stuffed and don't see me again - ever!!!! " Regards

I'm not sure about your conclusion here, cynthia. OPC disabled has one PIF peak that ruins its graph and score. Other than that, its total PIEs and PIFs are significantly lower, as are its max PIEs. The PIFs especially, are very good on the disabled graph (except for the spike, which could just be the media). Perhaps a test on an RW might get an even better comparision, as this way, you'd be writing on the very same disc. However, both burns would be classed as excellent (surprisingly, given the media involved). Regards
-
Well, since you've done everything to get a good burn, you can either suspect the cables or the drive itself. Regards
-
PxHelp20 can also go. Regards
-
It does look like you are losing buffer and this may be what is inhibiting the speed. Are you doing any other disk/cpu intensive things while burning? Regards
-
Well, I can't see the graphs. All I see is a small graphic saying "pic-upload.de, Site don't allowed." As I said, upload them to Imageshack. Regards
-
No - use read mode then write mode. All discovery does is write a test disc of 0s. See the guides on how to copy a disc. Regards

Have you checked your DMA? See the guides and the link in my signature. Your graphs aren't showing. Maybe use www.imageshack.us Regards

Can ImgBurn copy Divx or convert it into a regular DVD?
blutach replied to coody's topic in ImgBurn Support
1. It can happen that the finalising process can take some time. So long as you get operation successfully completed, you are good to go. You should also have verify on, as it ensures your drive can read back perfectly what you have just written. 2. It does not matter if you use a -R. However, please re-read LUK!'s post #4 in this thread where he explained that unless you have a standalone player capable of playing DivX files, it won't play on a normal DVD player. It will play on your PC with software players like VLC, however. To play on a normal player, you'll need to convert them. Try DVD Flick or SUPER. Regards -
You need better media - get some Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. Regards
-
Well, think of the DVD as 2 bits - the 1st 500 or so sectors devoted to the filesystem where files are kept with their info and dates and times, and the 2nd being the actual files themselves (if you open an ISO in ISOBuster, you'll see exactly what I mean). As you observed, you can only verify against an image file (eg ISO). So, if your verify in build mode fails on one drive but you want to try again on another (or the same drive), you can build an ISO with the files. This ISO will have different date and time info in it for file creation etc. So when you verify, you will get miscompares in the filesystem area in certain sectors I have mentioned. But the data (2nd bit) may verify OK. Of course, doing a DOS fc/b on the files might be easier. Regards

Linda, All we can say is you are doing everything right. Check your DMA - see link in my signature. And as horrible as it seems, your cables may be bung and may need replacing with high quality 80 pin ones. Regards

Get better media - Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore This is not legal. Specify a correct layer break. Restore your defaults - especially the bit about User specified L0 capacity. Regards -
Good luck stupid000. Hope everything goes well! Regards

Can ImgBurn copy Divx or convert it into a regular DVD?

From the guides ..... HOW TO COPY A DISK WITH IMGBURN Read the guides!!!!!! If you are unsure about the prog or the settings - see the links in my signature. This is what build mode does - took 1 minute to find by following the "Complete Guide" link in my signature. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=66439 There's even a list of guides that pertain to each mode following the explanation of the mode. Read/search first!!!! I understand that you are confused, but you can help yourself by reading what other people have put lots of time into doing. Also, if you are confused, use EZ picker mode and hover over the icons. Regards -
I see dead peeeeee-pol. Regards

The one that jean finally output includes versions for linux. There's a windows only version that is quite small. Regards

Can ImgBurn copy Divx or convert it into a regular DVD?
blutach replied to coody's topic in ImgBurn Support
Does it fail if you make an image first. You got a write error in one and a verify error in the other. I notice the source might have been a CMC burned with Ner0, so the verify error may just be "I can't read off the source any more cos it is shit". Personally, I'd try to copy the files from the source disk to your hard drive and then use build mode. Or read mode followed by write mode. Regards -

It's just we don't need to know it was pirated. When posting the logs next time, you might take take that into account. Regards -
Double layer DVD split into two single layer DVDs

Get VobBlanker - guide on site. Regards -
Get some Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore - that's the only DL discs we recommend. They've been around for a while and the drive will most likely have a write strategy for them. Regards
-
Might also be a function of your video card JohnnyBob. And yeah, it can take a short time to display after moving things around (eg the slider a long distance), but again, remember, it is a previewer, not a player. @LUK! - God knows what I am thinking of then. If I figure it out, I'll pipe up. Regards
