A search would have revealed that we only recommend Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore for DL burning. Sadly, you gets what you pays for in the media game. Regards
-
It has nothing to do with the software and everything to do with the burner/media/firmware. Regards
-
Press Process in the main GUI on the VTS you want to split. Regards
-
First, change to Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. Second, ensure you don't use -R DL if you are making a DVD Video (which I know is not the case here). Regards

update to 2.4.0.0 doesn't work with DVD Flick
blutach replied to jimmied01's topic in ImgBurn Support
Which ensures that if LUK puts out an update tomorrow, you will not get it and will have to wait till Flick bundles it in! Tick check for updates on again and then don't burn from DVD Flick - author your project and then manually call the "real" ImgBurn. And, I think someone ought to suggest to DVD Flick that they read the bloody readme and learn to use CLI. It is not rocket science. Regards -
If you are talking about a DVD Video, then it will play OK, but only if no other IFO (which belongs on layer 1) is navigated to before playback occurs. For example, if there is only 1 VTS. You lose the BUP, of course. Regards
-
Eventually, they will update their bundle. A search would have showed some recent questions about this. Regards
-
Interfering programs are AnyDVD, DVD43 and DVDRegion+CSSFree (see here). If you don't run these, you can safely turn this check off. By the way, it should have nothing to do with slow start up. Check that out in Process Explorer. Regards

I'm 100 % serious about the "far less user friendly" part. It's not just that the current copy process can't be done unattended even with two drives, it's also a fact of life that most users are non-techies and you'd be amazed what small hurdles actually block them from completing tasks in real life. If you look at actual usability studies with real, average users you see dramatic differences in successful completion rate between something like: a) When you want to copy a disc, find that it's called "Copy disc". Then follow on-screen instructions for any additional steps (that don't involve choices) such as "insert a blank disc". When you want to copy a disc, find that it's called "Create image file from disc". Then decide or at least be aware that for certain types of disc .bin/.cue is suitable, for others .iso is. Then pick a temporary destination for your image. Then find that the next step is "Write image file to disc". Then find the image file you just created... So the reality is that users will keep asking for this. And until they get it, ImgBurn is just not the right software for the 95 % or so non-techie world population who still wants to copy a disc. Or for all of us who like unattended copying. And incidentally, copying a disc is probably most common thing anybody wants to do with their CD/DVD burner. But for now, for common users wanting to do this common operation, the bloated ugly Nero that came with the drive in fact remains a better choice, for all its warts. And keep in mind that with this feature added, ImgBurn would still be no less perfect for advanced users. I'll grant you that - and we do see the odd forum question about it, too. But that's it - it the odd question - maybe 5 in the last year. We say use read mode then write mode and they say thanks and that's it. In response to some people who have pushed for this, we even have a "guide" (accessible from the Help menu) - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...amp;#entry66253 Finally, ImgBurn is made for people with a few brains. Regards

Where'd you hear that? It is not riddled with anything!!! It works very well and is totally free! It does offer some google bar on installation, but just say no. Regards

Add sector info to "No LB" ("End of the world") message
blutach replied to tartak's topic in ImgBurn Suggestions
I see no difference in the relative number - it is taken for the C_ADT table and is 1918647. Regards -
You don't ever need to use EZ Picker mode - it's there for the noobs. Just use the keyboard shortcuts to get to the relevant mode you want. And of course ImgBurn can't make your drive run faster. That's between it, its firmware and the media (and whatever else you might be doing on your PC at the time). Regards

ImgBurn changes my CPU color quality settings to 8 bit

And also verify your burns! Regards -
And that's why I asked for a log!!!! Nick, go buy a DVD writer. Regards
-
And, as you have observed, you should get rid of this junk and get some Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. I doubt AnyDVD would kill the info in the MDS. Something's NQR. Regards

Simply a matter of padding - nothing to worry about. Regards -
Where's your log? Regards
-
The firmware shows that it can only burn those crappy Ritek (Memorex) DLs at 4x max. Use Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore anyway for a high quality burn. Regards

Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. If you want to play it on a standalone DVD player, you need to convert. SUPER is a choice for entry level conversion of OGG files. If you just wanna play it on your PC, no conversion is required. Simply burn it to disk. Play with VLC. Regards

Far less user friendly? C'mon! Regards

Surely, this belongs in the pink bit? Regards

Thanks for the great release LUK! Regards

If you want to know about DVD Decrypter, you won't get an answer here due to legal reasons. We simply can't discuss it. The product belongs to someone else now. Please don't push it. Go ask at another forum that supports that product. Regards
