Jason, why not just drag the log window to the main window till it docks (it's quicker than running thru a menu anyway)? The settings are already crowded enough, IMHO.

Then I'd usually advise you to write slower. But 4x is the slowest on that media. Try to find some high quality media that you can write at 2X on.

Welcome to the forum, Roger. The guide has been put up in anticipation of a new release. However, the finishing touches are still being put on it and so you can't do this right now.

Well, when doing backups, you don't use ImgBurn - it is for burning your project which should be sized correctly to begin with (if it's too big, you'll be notified).
Just remember, a DVD-5 is 4.37Gb = 4482Mb (+R) or 4488Mb (-R). This question has come up before.

Tray recycling is necessary to re-initialise the drive and ensure it can read the DVD's TOC etc. Cos Ner0 doesn't do it, doesn't make it wrong.

ImgBurn just feeds bits and bytes to your burner. It does nothing to them, including the audio packs in a DVD. Something else is wrong with your setup, I am afraid (check for loose wires from your standalone).

Search and see the guides.
1. Update firmware
2. Use only Verbatim DL +R 2.4X blanks made in Singapore
3. Check DMA is on
4. There's always a log to post. Open ImgBurn and go to help menu
5. Update your ImgBurn - we no longer support v2.2

Wonder how many sales they've got in the last 4 days? An 80% price hike shouldn't bother the consumer, should it? For the price of their famed decrypter (A$135), I'll take the risk that some of my DVD collection will go ker-flooey and I'll have to replace them with new DVDs. I reckon I'll still be ahead of the game.
Sorry, no decrypter is worth that much IMHO.

I suspect iespell wouldn't have caught tits - would have to be in the dictionary I reckon.
Hmmmm... Catching tits - depends on how fast the "owner" can run :D

Never put adhesive labels on disks. Also, do not use DVD Shrink to make a DL ISO - it will mess up. Output to files and use ImgBurn's Build mode.
Always post your log of a failed burn.
