  1. And ditch the CMC Mag blanks and buy good ones like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Regards
  2. If it's copy protected, you can't just drag and drop the files from the DVD to your hard drive - they are still copy protected. And we can not help with unprotecting the files. As for yuor burn, ditch the crappy Ritek disks and ONLY use Verbatim MKM-001 2.4X +R dual layer disks, made in Singapore. Also, update your firmware - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2344 Regards
  3. Didn't think you were an old enough fogey to remember Cilla Black (whose real name, IIRC, was White)? Regards
  4. Sorry, but we don't give assistance on DVD decyption or backup. ImgBurn is a burning tool. In respect of burning, remember to use good quality media - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, ensure your firmware is up to date, DMA is on, and burn at no more than 8x. If you have a burning issue - see the pink bit at the top. As for your media, I've not heard of it. What is the media ID code? Pop a blank into ImgBurn, switch to write mode and copy and paste the stuff in the top right pane. Regards
  5. We really can't reinforce this enough - leave the settings on default. Only when you want to tweak something, should you do so and then come ask us first. Who wants to change tits? I like them just the way they are (provided they meet minimum size requirements). Regards
  6. Why should they? We are a burning software and have no decryption algorithms at all. If they did that, they'd need to shut down Ner0, Roxio and the rest of them, too. Regards
  7. I thought it was actually quite clever. Don't take any notice of "ole grumpy", LOCO. Regards
  8. Happy birthday mate. You have the sad fate of sharing a birthday with my brother! Bend the elbow mate - lotsa times! Regards
  9. And, I am sure the translators will be able to report any issues, update their files and post them once 2.4.0.0 is released (I plan to work on the authentic Australian language file - "Ocker" - when I have some time - watch for it). Regards
  10. ImgBurn is a burning application and only that. It does not copy protected DVDs. Google for help on that. However, it can copy unprotected DVDs - use read mode followed by write mode. If you have a set of (unprotected) IFO/BUP/VOB files, you can use Build mode. See the guides. Regards
  11. Most search engines on forums limit the number of characters. In this case, the forum might be set at 4 characters or more. Regards
  12. There you go LFC, stealing my bloody gif again! Happy birthday Ken - duty first = winning the test match tomorrow. Regards
  13. Another alternative - VLC player plays ISO files directly. Regards

  19. They are not! The disk ID is Ritek, which are grossly inferior. Change to Verbatims. Regards
  20. A little bit of searching would have led you to know that we only recommend Verbatim DL +R 2.4X media (MKM-001-00), made in Singapore. The rest are just not up to scratch - verrrry hit and miss (yours had burped at the layer break, which is quite customary). Update your firmware, too - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2341 And slow your write speed to 2.4x Regards
  21. Can we see a log please? Regards
  22. Thanks for the mammories!! Regards
  23. If you can. Regards
  24. The media we recommend, as donta says, is Verbatim +R 2.4x DLs - MKM-001 Made in Singapore. They work! Regards
  25. That will tell you to use Verbatim 2.4x +R DLs only (MKM-001). Not el cheapo, I admit, but el goodo. Regards
